Moral of this history: Never stay at stranger's houses. I have always fear to stay at other peoples' home. No matter if they tell you they are doctors or wealthy folks. Never stay at someone house!
Why do trailers spoil and show the whole movie? I remember when trailers used to let you wondering what was the movie really about...but after this trailer we already know almost everything prior to go watch the movie
This is a very rare instance of where a remake is probably going to be better than the original. Only cause of McEvoy, but giving away everything in the trailer makes this the worst marketing campaign of all time.
I wholeheartedly disagree. I mean, the movie is spoiled right in the trailer. The whole point of the first movie is about politeness and how far people cam be pushed. There are no weapons, and Patrick dominates behaviouraly. Here Paddy here is absolutely jacked to the gills, and there are multiple weapons shown, including a violent confrontation absent from the first movie. Here Louisa comes off as giving direction, whereas it was Bjorn who seemed to be the head of the family but completely without will. Granted, they probably chose to take the story in a different direction, but that really makes this just a generic horror movie.
Loved this movie. The Dalton's were a bit off as well. They let too much slide. Especially Ben. Classic case of you should have listened to your wife from jump 😂. I'm glad someone finally listened to Ant. It kept me entertained even at 2AM when I decided to watch it.

The remake: We’re meant to share the mindset of the protagonists. When something seems off, they question it, we question it. The audience reacts how they would, sort of. The two deliveries of the same events are very different in how they present themselves.

I remember not liking the 2022 version because of the '' visiting '' couple being so dumb at decision making. Well this couple ain't much better. Thank God for the woman thought because the man is a spineless weak man! They survived mainly because of her. This version was ups & downs for me. Stupidity & bad decision making is still around. I thought that the little girl was annoying & a spoiled brat. J. McAvoy was pretty good. So I'll give it a shy thumbs up.
