It is said that our tongue can lead us to Jannah and it can also lead us to Jahanaam. Let’s be conscious of what we say and do to please Allah.

Assalamualaykum! There is a problem with the title or heading of the video. It implies that she goes to hell because she prays tahajjud. You might want to change it to, “She goes to hell even though she prays tahajjud”. There can be people of various faiths seeing the video in their list and this can make someone infer wrongly about our beautiful deen. Much peace ✌️

Assalamualikum All, Thank you Sheikh to brought up this important topic. Yes, Sheikh we Muslims (not all) have major problems we don't know the manner. We all love our Prophet Mohammad (SW), but we don't follow what our prophet Mohammad (SW) did behave with brothers, sisters, and others. Did our Prophet Mohammad (SW) cheat with his brothers or any other bad things? No, he didn't. Then how come we Muslims said we love/follow our prophet Mohammad (SW). We Muslims first do "not to do misbehave/cheat/be proud with anyone".

Sadeekah. We have to say Jazaka’Allahu Khair and not only jazaka’Allah because that’s not good. If you say Jazaka’Allah and just stop there, it means, may Allah reward you. Reward you for what? However, reward comes in two kinds, it can be either good or bad. So, it’s very important to say, Jazaka’Allahu khair, meaning, may Allah reward you with good or goodness. Your intention to pray for the Sheikh is good but not using the word, “Khair” to finish the prayer is not good!
May Allah reward Sheikh Bajoor, Epic Masjid, all the Masaajid, and all the Ummah who are contributing to Islam in many, many ways, and all those who’re helping ease the lives of humans and animals and all living creatures of Allah, may HE reward them all with Khair/goodness! May Allah reward you with khair dear sister! Jazaki’Allahu khair

Really it's a great blessing of Allah who has patience and good manners. Sometimes we can't control ourselves and make mistakes, hurt others by our tongue, say bad words or insult. But after sometime we can realise what we have lost. Peace, respect, trust and the most precious thing--- satisfaction of Allah.
May Allah forgive us for our all known and unknown mistakes and guide us with His mercy and also save us from every Fitnah and every evil traps. Ameen

2 - whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme)
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One " [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071]

Superb video! Alhamdulillah. May Allah bless the scholar. Yes, that's absolutely right. In Islam it's not enough to just have Deen and taqwa. You have to have good character too. I.e., you have to have a good heart too and be good to people as well. Extremely important not to hurt other people's hearts. To hurt people's hearts is even worse than drinking alcohol, gambling, taking drugs, free mixing with the opposite sex. I heard this Hadith about the woman who does plenty prayers, plenty fasts and gives plenty to the poor but hurts people with her tongue, and who is in hell when I was a teenager.

This is for when you pray with a sincere intention without showing off and upholding the prayer correctly giving it its full rights. The better your salah, the less sins you will have.
This hadith only mentions little information so we don't know the full story. It could even be that rasoulillah sallalahu alayhi wsallam knew who this woman was and knew about more bad things she did or that she was a hypocrite or refused to make wudu correctly or something else.

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Do you know who is the bankrupt?" They said: "The bankrupt among us is one who has neither money with him nor any property". He said, "The real bankrupt of my Ummah would be he who would come on the Day of Resurrection with Salat, Saum and Sadaqah (charity), (but he will find himself bankrupt on that day as he will have exhausted the good deeds) because he reviled others, brought calumny against others, unlawfully devoured the wealth of others, shed the blood of others and beat others; so his good deeds would be credited to the account of those (who suffered at his hand). If his good deeds fall short to clear the account, their sins would be entered in his account and he would be thrown in the (Hell) Fire".

Its not because she prays tahajjud but rather because she harms others so she loses her good deeds. The woman who did zina didn't go to jannah for her zina but for her act of mercy. Also, both these ahadith only mention a little information about them both. Perhaps that woman who prayed tahajjud and fasted only did so for showing off and was involved in many acts of harming others. And perhaps the woman who did zina stopped the zina and became righteous and her feeding that cat is possibly what made Allah lead her to that tawbah and change. Its like the hadith, i dont remember the exact words or the reference, but some sahabah asked rasoulillah sallalahu alayhi wsallam if they would be rewarded for the good they did before becoming Muslim and he said something like them being guided to Islam is the reward for that. At the end of the day, its about ones intention in doing the worship (is it for Allah or to show off?) and the amount of good vs bad deeds one shows up with on the day of judgement. Scholars should explain this better because some ahadith say you go to jannah for one type of deed while others say you go to jahannam for a different deed but what about those who do both or those who do that deed but have many other opposite deeds etc? The average person will get confused and may even lose hope when such ahadith aren't explained properly.

Abu Huraira reported: A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, a woman prays in the night, fasts in the day, does many deeds and gives charity, yet she harms her neighbors with her tongue.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There is no good in her. She is among the people of Hellfire.” The man said, “O Messenger of Allah, another woman prays the obligatory prayers and gives bits of food in charity, yet she does not harm anyone.” The Prophet said, “She is among the people of Paradise.”

Allah tends to give me sprinkles of happyness like that salt meme. The happyness will last for a few days or a week max then he pulls all the happiness away and I'm back in stagnation.
Don't know what I'm doing wrong or why he cuts me off like that.
I'm not asking him for a sports car I'm literally asking him for happiness.
