Hi. I’m not sure if I have the right kind of wakame for this salad. I’m currently using dried wakame for soups. When rehydrated, they appear to be somewhat larger than the ones you used in the video. Can I simply cut them smaller and use them in this salad or should I buy those really small dried wakame…I think I have seen them in Japanese stores but I thought they were instant wakame as they had dried vegetables in it. I’m really loving and learning so many new things about Japanese cuisine. Thank you. ❤
Getting deeper and deeper into the japanese cooking. Started almost 15 years ago with maki sushi, now learning how to do nigiri and tamagoyaki following your tamagoyaki video. In my country it is very hard to find ingredients to different dishes, have to order online most of them. Even instant dashi powder is hard to get. I would love to make this wakame salad with smoked salmon my husband makes, I bet it would taste amazing. Can I substitute ponzu with something else?
Thank you for all the beautiful recipes. I really love your channel. This Wakame Salad version stepped up to one of my favorites Side dishes.

If it says wakame, you got the right kind and yes, you can just cut them into smaller pieces 😊
Still going strong. You deserve more subs
Thank you 😍🎶

Huh. That knife move you did with your left hand is something I definitely needed. 有難う御座いまして、Yoshimi3.

Sounds delicious with homemade smoked salmon ! You can replace ponzu with soy sauce.
Can you do shoyu and miso ramen next? Love your videos thank you!! ❤️
Ramen is a tricky one for many reasons but I’ll think about it !
@@asakusa-tokyokitchen what about bao buns?? Like chicken curry or bbq pork bao 😊
That’s not Japanese but there is something similar. Put that on the list 😉
@@asakusa-tokyokitchen oh wow good to know!! Thank you :)
