July 26 : Dr Shivajirao S Jondhle International School celebrated ' Kargil Vijay Diwas ' to remember India ' s war victory and to pay tribute to Kargil Martyrs who are the symbol of courage and sacrifice for safeguarding the borders of the Country .
The house on duty i .e House leader conducted morning assembly in a very well coordinated manner . The entire staff along with the students , 2 minutes silence was observed . Snehal Mogale Ms . has done the anchoring for the celebration . Mamta Shekhawat Teacher for English and Vaibhavi Bhoir Teacher for Hindi explained the importance of Kargil Vijay Diwas to the students . Students sang patriotic songs and filled the entire atmosphere with patriotism . A dance performance was done by Grade V student name Prem Bombe on " Aye Desh Mere " song .
Patriotism is a social value , the feeling of patriotism is to be inculcated at school level to make sure that student becomes the responsible citizen of our Nation . Principal Revathi Nair Ma ' am appreciated the initiatives and efforts of the students . Vote of thanks was given by Bhushan Vishe Sir .
