What if Your Glutes Aren't WEAK, Just Inhibited?

    Yes, left side of back is tight and right glute "weak".

      No official research, just my clinical experience, mate! I'd love research to be performed on this and from what I've seen clinically over the last 15 years I think it would be a significant piece of research.

    I'm curious, during the foam rolling to find tightness on the back. I have actually a couple times strained the low back muscles on each side on separate occasions. The most recent was in Dec 2021. I thought I was using good mechanics, but probably wasn't strong enough in my glutes, low back, hamstrings, shoulders, you name it. Anyway, I was lifting a very heavy Hood of a vehicle that was much taller than me. So I didn't have much length to lift with my legs anyway. So those muscles,,right beneath the bottom of the ribs, really got strained and continue to spams. I don't know how to strengthen them and my glutes . Any ideas?
