    as a Turk can say that he does not know Turkish. He just repeats phrases without actually responding in conversation.

      yeah as he mentioned in the video he doesnt know that much Turkish and the Turkish grammar can be complex because of the sentence structure. It is different from other european countries and also Turkish is an agglutinative language. Thats why it can be hard for learning Turkish. I agree with you he doesnt know that much turkish only a few words and phrases.

      @@start9749 there is no stright rule for that like in germany ect. but i mean when i go to a gouverments buildung and there is a older lady ofc i do not say SEN i say SİZ it depends but problay saying SİZ would be better in first case

    As a Turkish (living in the US) when I was in Germany for a quick visit, I got free food from an Italian seller, when I spoke little Italian. Never anyone gave me free food before and it felt great 🙂

      JI’ve seen many videos where you barely speak it. They didn’t take the hundred dollars because you only recognized the language. But if they actually challenged you on being able to “Speak” the language, you’d lost a lot of $100.

    You are a polygot. I am Turkish. The other language that I manage to speak is Engilish. Your Turkish is not bad, and you get by in Turkey even in Azerbaycan with no problem.

    I'm learning Russian and videos like this make me want to study more. I go to church with a few Russians but have difficulty in conversations with them. I need more practice!

      @@davidsthoughts60 i am currently speak in russian(my grandmothers language). I am from Azerbaijan which also was occupied by Russia (Russia empeir that time(1920)). My country have had problems with Armenia now. (its also russian and europian countries games)

    When I used to take the taxi in the city, I used to talk to the drivers because they were from different countries (generally in Africa) I loved learning their language and about their culture.
