The Lakes of Pontchartrain

The Lakes of Pontchartrain is a beautiful folk song popular in the Irish folk music revival. The exact origins of this song are unknown, but this was brought to the main stream or Irish music in the late 1970s by Planxty and Paul Brady. Kiana's version is a stripped back, acoustic cover, and recorded live with only her violin as accompaniment.
