@Shannon Parkhill, all the non-verbs are named arguments (which are words that the main predicate needs to fulfill its meaning in the sentence). I hope that helps🙂
Is there a general word for all roles that "verb" (ie. agents, experiencers; the subject except when using a passive voice)? ...and another word for roles that are "verbed" (ie. themes, patients, stimulus; the object except when in a passive voice)? ....and another word for roles that are "verbed to/for/from/etc" (ie. beneficiaries, recipients, goals; the indirect or prepositional object)? three answers appreciated!
