When the two main leads both know how to act, their chemistry will surely be effective to the audience. Kudos to the director for choosing the Cheng Yi and Crystal Yuan in Love and Redemption. They obviously pulled off their roles. They're both great actors in this generation. I'm so amazed.
I love this part of the drama so much. The chemistry here is off the charts. The way they look at each other , their kiss, their tenderness. So moving.
i really love how healthy and genuine their relationship was...like yeah lots of misunderstandings and all for the sake of fitting the show into 59 episodes but he never took advantage of her innocence and lack of senses, no manipulation, ugly manhandling, physical and mental abuse and toxic masculinity being romanticzed like the MANY *cough I-CANT-DROP-NAMES cough* historical cdrama men...they were REALLY IN LOVE! not unhealthily obsessed to the point of becoming toxic or whatever
