    oh my god, I cant say how much thank you, you save my days
    I struggling with this stupid peace of hardware to get 100% at duty cycle=100%, but it always gave me freaking 92%.
    I changed the power supply from 12vdc to 24vdc, and it worked right away.

    La scheda funziona perfettamente ma è necessario:
    1-Alimentarla con almeno 14V (non bastano i 12V suggeriti);
    2-La frequenza del segnale PWM d'ingresso deve avere una frequenza di 500Hz (pin D9 o D10 se si usa Arduino).
    Altrimenti non arriva ai 10V d'uscita dichiarati.

      Hi, no you can't . In order to run a motor, you need motor drive. The output from almost all devices have very little power and won't be able to drive a motor. you may learn it from this video to use L293D chip and feed your PWM to L293D ruclips.net/video/D4yLsWvZDw4/видео.html or learn from this video to inject your PWM to the motor driver. ruclips.net/video/EapP4BhlYb0/видео.html but and forget Arduino. I used Arduino to generate PWM, but you already have PWM signal. then feed it to motor driver.

      You you can read any DC voltage see this video ruclips.net/video/t8xwrVj2aFs/видео.html and then it is your choice to do something with the voltage like PWM signal. PWM does not PNP or NPN it turns ON or OFF like 0V and 5V on Arduino. but you can drive mosfet to use it with higher voltage. The e-bike motor controllers use a 3 wire pot or hall effect throttle control that varies 5VDC out of the controller back in to the controller to set the motor speed. I want to come out of a channel on an RC receiver into the throttle input of the e-bike motor controller. You could use it. But this will drive LED dim and bright using voltage. The best way to increase and decrease the intensity of LED light is PWM so you will have fixed for example 5V (voltage will not change) but PWM will change from 0% (dim) to 100%( bright).

    @robojax Hello! Please help us if you can! I have a project where I am using a standard PWM controller to control a 12v motor and gearbox, but need to use an ebike throttle with Hall Effect sensor. Do you think there is a way for this converter to work in reverse for that application? Currently it works when hooked up, but motors turn slightly due to the hall sensor throttle giving the controller a different control voltage signal than what it needs. Other than turning slightly everything else operates normally, just need to knock out that 1v signal that the hall sensor is giving out while still being able to vary the voltage with that throttle. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it!!!!

    Hi, I want to use this module in an application where the pwm frequency is 10 Hz!! The module is designed for 1kHz upt to 3kHz. Or can you tell me which resistor and capacitor are responsible for the output filtering/time constant, so that I can change them?

    • @robojax

      this module uses LM358 OpAMP www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm358.pdf and quick google search for "LM358 PWM" resulted to many pages. Here is one which I traced from "google images" henrysbench.capnfatz.com/henrys-bench/arduino-projects-tips-and-more/arduino-lm358-op-amp-pwm-to-voltage-converter/ you might be able to change it if you know what you are doing.

    • @86jogger
      @86jogger 6 лет назад

      Robojax Thanks for your reply! I think the LM358 is not the "problem", because it is a standard OpAmp. It becomes a Low pass filter by the used resistors and capacitors in the schematics. The problem is that I can't figure out the resistor and capacitor which are responsible for the low pass filter because it is not so easy to figure out the schematics of this by having a look on a picture of the circuit board.

      I can confirm it does work with the arduino UNO output of 490Hz

      @@chriswouse7713 Does Arduino's insufficient PWM frequency (>1kHz) has any side effects impact on output voltage? I have device which can be controlled by analog (0-10) voltage input. I'd like to create controller for such device using Arduino Uno and this converter. I don't know this converter fits well for my project. Can you provide some output samples of PWM -> voltage map?

    Why do you say it's precise? you're getting 6,8v at 100%PWM. Shouldn't it be 10v at 100%?

      I am. Not sure what are you referring. I have to watch to answer , but please watch it fully. I mentioned what is the maximum input voltage and I don’t remember.

    Can this device turn a 2 pin fan into a 4 pin PWM fan?

    • @robojax
      @robojax  4 года назад +1

      this module gets PWM and outputs only voltage. The output is very low power. You can't use to driver a fan. You will need a fan driver or motor driver between them.

      okay I understand. Can I use this on a PWM PC mother board connection for a 2 pin black/red fan? It reads PWM data at low voltage... not 12v but 5v. Currently I am only using the power supply connection to power the fan at full speed. But if i connect this to the mother board it can read the PWM data and speed control the 2 pin fan! Sorry for so many edits!

      This module is not accurate. Use proper module that you can control and manage : Output DC or AC Voltage using MCP4725 DAC with LCD and PWM to Voltage Converter with Arduino

    Voltage to PWM?

      @robojax  4 года назад

      yes that is what the title says. PWM duty cycle will change proportional to voltage.

      @@robojax No the title is convert pwm to voltage. The material is quite useful. My question was can you do a Voltage to PWM(Not Voltage to Current) vice versa video relative to this video. I'm looking to use both modules in tandem(V to P + P To V) to create a tuneable inline fan flow protection or signal generator using 2 Inline duct Fan's. It's complicated but the goal is to find a use for the0-10 reference voltage off of the fans which are unpowered but spun inline to create a reference of air flow.

      Yes. very easily. This video ruclips.net/video/3_C7gJeX9hc/видео.html show to measure the voltage from potentiometer and proportionally outputs PWM to control servo motor. so you can use it for other purpose.
