Thanks for the update! I am about to fit a new clutch on my ed30, I do not see the point of limiting the torque that much just to keep the clutch a few thousand more miles. At that level of power the clutch will get ruined quickly that is for sure. Anyway you have got a crazy good car, I specially love it in red!
Mate looks amazing bet you want to go bigger now tte420 ? I'm just in Warwick I brought my mk5 gti byd k04 fitted off ben at r rtech 2 years ago now took this to stealth racing in Southam made 327bhp on stage 1.
Looks an absolute beast mate, just purchased a 5door gti in tornado red myself. I know yours is sat on coilovers, but if I was to get some lowering springs H&R or Eibach, what mm would be near or same as your stance drop ? And what would be better for comfort, H&R or EIBACH. Them spark plugs are they more suitable for a stage 2 only or overall better for just any GTI.
Only just noticed this comment mate, apologies. I would say 35mm ish would be good. I know a lot run 25/35mm and it gives a nice stance, especially if paired with a set of 12/15mm or 13/16mm spacers! Of course all dependant on the speed bumps and roads in your area but anywhere in the 20-35mm mark is good mate.
I have a mk5 gli and depending on how much comfort you're looking for but have a nice flush wheel/tire to fender. If you want more of a stock suspension and not coikover, definitely at least upgrade the struts, I went with Bilstein B8. For the springs I went with the H&R race springs, though the Sport springs would be good too
Im bringing the car to a good mechanic next week. I still need to develop some trust in the k04 with revo kit. Is it normal to hear the turbo intake that good?
Brilliant channel mate. Hope it grows big, well deserved success. No bullshit honesty and good cars.
This means so much! Thank you. Appreciate the support always mate!
I just picked my mk5 gti dsg up 2 months a go BWA! Its already stage 2 running 282 bhp! Cant wait to go stage 3 ko4 build in the future! :)
Great stuff! Enjoy it!

You are so kind! Thank you. You are right and in hindsight I would have had a new clutch done prior to mapping. You live and learn!
Good ones are around £10k now, that’s with good mileage too 👍🏻
This is true. These cars are definitely appreciating

Only around the corner mate! Bens a legend!!! Sounds perfect mate. We are surrounded by some good tuners and garages that’s for sure.
Hi bud, where is your front spoiler lip from?
So next intercooler, clutch and RS4 fuel return valve. I hope you've been saving, that list is due to get a lot more expensive 🤣🤣🤣.

Lovely car but as all cars are getting older etc they cost lots.. will this need the expensive clutch upgrade doing soon and other bits?
Unfortunately yes, seems to be constant money with these cars unfortunately..
How many miles you got on the ed30? Mine has 180k kilometers. That would be something like 110 miles. Do you think that is a a lot ?
If properly maintained you will be fine mate!

@@notorioz810 yes sir, these intakes are fairly loud!
What about a downpipe and intercooler?
Clutch?
Do you still have this car mate
where did you get them bbs caps buddy
What grade oil did they use buddy?
Quantum 5W-40 or if not available, Millers 5W-40 mate
Stage 2+ you mean 👍
I’m stage 2 right now mate - no clutch/flywheel or anything so R-tech mapped it to stage 2 to cap torque etc
@@AJCars. mapping with a hpfp would be stage 2+ otherwise the pump on stage 2 software is a waste
These cars like to empty pockets
1000% mate every owner agrees
Most tunes cars do that.
Try tuning an italian 5 cylinder turbo. Thats a real bank breaker.
