So thankful for this video as I'm doing a 3 x 9 tile tomorrow with a border. Never done a curve though. This really helps.

Lovely job Eggy, as it's on PS instead of the pencil marks on the border tiles could you have pulled the edge of the field up tucked the border underneath and just run the concave around the edge? Not a criticism as I think it looks spot on.

Loved the video thank you for creating and sharing it. Quick question, is there a product you can get that can be spread into any gaps between the tiles. Recently fitted a floor like that and on the odd tile joint there is a 0.5mm gap. Any ideas or assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Nice Eggy, me personally , I would always wet set,PS adhesive is shite. get away with it more on parquet/herringbone small planks but IMO a weak adhesive.

I've done hundreds of LVT's with F. Ball PS. Herringbone, chevron (sigh) and straight planks, It sticks fine. Maybe try a different brand?

Do your rate the Mozart knife is it worth the money

It's ok but there is a Noch ware the blade sits so it kills the side of the straight blade that's still in the knife not good and it doesn't clamp the blade well so it wiggles a lot. Now writing this I'll say no! It's not worth it 😭

@@eggyfits I was thinking you can use the point of the compass by following the curve with the other pencil end marking the tile?

Make a template of the boarder as a carpenter would then use an over and underscriber as though you were inserting a logo into marmoleum it will be so much easier than messing about with a pencil. Just saying check it out. Cheers

Treat yourself to one of these. Much easier. Has little cuts etched into for your blade to what size you need to cut your border too. The two curve sections just follow around the curve of the bullnose or anything circular 👍🏻
