I tried it and I wanted to love it. Two problems, BADLY over sharpened even in the lowest sharpening setting. Like it gave me skin problems I don't even have...and the audio doesn't sync to the video clip in Pure Video. It's 5 frames advanced in the every clip no matter how I move it from the camera to the editing software. Tried different SD cards, viewed the footage on my phone, viewed it in camera...all out of sync audio. Pure Video is pretty wild what it can accomplish but the image quality in any other mode falls way behind the Action 4 looking plastic and over processed. I think I'm returning this one and waiting for the next one.
If you're honest, does 4k 60fps on the Ace Pro look better than the GoPro 12 during a sunny day with no clouds?? Bear in mind that iso would be 100, auto settings otherwise and highest stabilisation on both and both in dewarp/linear fov
No I’ve honestly never had a problem with saying when my Insta360 videos are sponsored but I am aware of the current controversy. My personal experience is that I’ve been working with them since 2019 and I don’t think they’ve ever really asked for changes except where I said something that was factually incorrect. I hope they get it sorted out though
I sent my ace pro back as it was faulty. No stability. Insta were so unhelpful. They said I had to pay to return to Hong Kong. I sent them some video footage and they said the fix is to buy software to remove shaking. What? They eventually agreed it isn’t working properly and said they would pay half to return it. I refused and then they said it is faulty and they would pay to return it. If only I had one that had worked 😢

I treat any “review” sponsored by the supplier as just an advert- more so with Insta from recent events. But I appreciate you have a living off YT to make…..
I never call a sponsored video a review for that reason. But I also never agree to make a sponsored video without testing a product first to see if it performs as advertised. That's part of my agreement for all sponsored content, I have two weeks to test the product and the right to refuse to do so. I can't speak for other people, but those are my rules. Recent events are a huge shame. But I expect it will lead to changes.

Wow very stable in movement all that running around it is amazing, I’ve seen other videos and some are so jittery that its hard to watch.
the image quality coming out of this camera is awesome, that shot at 1:58, wow!

Yeah they are a very innovative company, it’s a shame this happened but apparently they are taking steps to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
I love this camera. I modified a GoPro filter adapter and added a close up filter for when i wanted closer footage.
Im in love with the 360 cameras and went from the x2 to x4, and im waiting for metal cage to arrive to try it out further.
