It was my favorite bird as a kid! Their patterns seem to be so crisp and precise.

Thanks, Danielle! I really wanted to capture the feathery effect but keep it wearable.

Red foxes are cool in the winter. Their winter coats are still red, but bustier, and they sit around covered in snow. That's a pretty color story!

What a fun series! Your look is so pretty and captures the bluejay. The ones that are more grey blue are the females. :) I think the cardinals are so pretty in the wintertime, the male of course with his bright red plumage, but also the female with her grungy yellow and orangey nose.

Thank you! I like observing the differences between male and female birds. My daughter and I were chatting about how the males are usually flashy, to attract a mate, whereas the females are generally more camouflaged and subtle to protect their babies. It’s interesting!

This look came out gorgeous! I don't really observe a lot of animals in the winter here. But we do see Geese migrating and we see cranes a lot. 😊

Oooh, cranes in the wintertime! I can never tell the difference between cranes and herons, but there are a few of them around here. Glad you like the look 🪶
