- Eric Knowles has a NEW antiques emporium in Royal Tunbridge Wells. It’s called The Pantiles Arcade, it’s dedicated to the Decorative Arts and this place is one of the finest antiques emporiums in the world !
You’ll all know Eric from his 40 years of BBC TV appearances - Antiques Roadshow, Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is and more recently Bargain Hunt
He’s published many a fascinating book on art and antiques (I have them all!), he’s a brilliant public speaker, an art and social historian and a thoroughly interesting and very entertaining fellow

It sounds like Eric and I would get along. My personal design taste is "if I like it, bung it in somewhere". IOW he has good taste. 🙂 The background music sounds like American bluegrass or some sort of Scots/Irish folk music. Possibly a mushel by this point.
You’re right. I was researching English folk music recently and of course the American Country sound was originally a great mix of English, Irish and Scottish folk
How the hell did two northerners get through passport control and make it as far south as Royal Tunbridge Wells ? A lad from Burnley and another from t’other side of Pennines, getting on so well together, just goes to show there’s hope for us all. Great stuff guys…warmest wishes Mr K and Mr H.

Just watching Bargain Hunt & I notice Eric Knowles has a huge vertical scar on his right cheek.
I searched the net & others have asked the same question but it is always denied.
It's definitely there & I was not there a few years ago.
So - what's going on?
