Great video, Scott. Thank you. I spent five nights in Yosemite in mid last October as part of a hiking trip that covered all nine National Parks in California. The weather was almost perfect, but there was little water in the waterfalls and wildfires further south in Kings Canyon. Cheers.
@@Sheety33 No wild camping in Yosemite this time. I stuck to day hikes (including a couple of 20+ mile ones), moving between the different districts of the park. I alternated between camping outside the park in my full-size SUV and spending a couple of nights in Mariposa. I posted my attempt improving on my best time on the Four Miles Trail: ruclips.net/video/LnyDjuwLhsc/видео.html And drone shots from the road trip between the parks: ruclips.net/video/mHpG9YpCK60/видео.html Will take me some time to edit and upload the other videos from this trip. Cheers.
Really enjoying your video description says late November and in the video you say late October I'm curious because I was at horseshoe Meadows 27/28 of October. Weather was very windy at night at night.
Great video, I have been at that location fall/winter. Just wanted to know your pack weight with water. Again, thanks for sharing your trip, love that area.
is this now in December 24 2924? just that it looks warm not cold because usually there's some snow by now? I am due for Yosemite I used to go every year mostly in winter
what are the best ways to learn how to cook for camping? do i find a class online? or do local shops/stores have services they can show me? im a student at theu university of wyoming and im not sure if they have anything on campus offered in the spring semesters

Merry Christmas and happy new year!
Great video of the fall colors - would be fun to continue the rest of the way to Glacier Point ( when water is available earlier in the season)
That’s a great idea - I’ve got to try it! Looking to do that in spring of 2025 👍🏕️
Beautiful video of a beautiful hike. Have a great Holiday season with your family!

Sounds amazing! Did you wild camp in Yosemite?

His watch indicates Saturday the 26th, so it is October.
I messed up on the date, was actually late October 😊
If you're looking for Aspens on the western slops of the Sierra's I suggest checking out Mineral King.
I'll have to check that out, thanks for the tip!

How was the snow camp? Bet it was amazing! Not sure how much the pack weighed but would estimate maybe 40 lbs.

End of October - I messed up the date! Pretty warm for the end of October for sure!

I recommend searching Google and talking with other backpackers - there are many free resources out there :)
Stunning view man. Great video and effort. I have similar lights around my tent also. ruclips.net/video/KWmmEVfje88/видео.html
