The geopolymer thing makes no sense, for one these are conglomerate stones or limestones generally. Conglomerate stones like granite have crystals of other materials imbedded, had they been melted or ground into a cement those wouldnt be there anymore, and limestone is made of billions of tiny shells from marine invertebrates, now you can make "geopolymer" from limestone, our own concrete is an example, but the tiny shells get destroyed in the process which is not what is observed. You can still see tool marks on many of the sites where they carved the stone, or left overhand to be dressed later, not things you need to do if you can cast stones to the exact size you need
