Good morning loooove that feel of walking over crispy frosty grass, it's a lovely sound too isn't it? We had a pretty orange striped sunrise here in Hampshire this morning, I'm always grateful to my cat for getting me up in time for the sunrise. I'm not even being sarcastic, it's one of my favourite things 😊
Happy Monday! We had a busy weekend here relaxing as a family. My older son returned to college 10 days ago and my younger goes tomorrow, Tuesday. We were relishing the time together, watching movies, doing a jigsaw puzzle and digging out of the snow. Seeing you read while your dinner was baking reminded me of something. I’m going to wait until I’m caught up on the weekend and then share it after. ❤
Hi Sarah, the frosts have been beautiful the last few days, such pretty patterns on the car. Finally, I have finished my hot water bottle cover and I’m pleased with it. Your shawl has such lovely colours in the yarn, it’s going to be beautiful when it’s finished 😊
I've been listening to Songbirds on audible, so far I'm enjoying it, on chapter 7, I have been knitting on Christmas cast on socks and now started a MKAL shawl, in-between working Thursday through Sunday 😊😊
That was lovely! Your daily vlogs are really helping me to stay motivated and inspired to stick to my healthy goals this month. It's been too cold and icy to get outside for the past week but I think this coming week is going to be a bit milder so I hope to get out in the fresh air each day.
Hi Sarah, my goodness well done on your walking/running. My dh now wants a beef casserole and I also use the slow cooker, do you have one be a great thing for you to come home to. Will comment further on Songbirds on book club, but things not brilliant for me at the minute and I need lighter more fun books to read. You do ask how we are doing and it’s so easy to say I am fine, but sadly for me at this time not the case. Quick question yes again, was your green cardi crocheted, oh and love the colours of your daughters blanket. Take care a bit warmer out there today ❤
I've managed odd short walks, I live near a hospital and the paths are always cleared, so I find that is the best place to walk in this icy weather. There's still lots of snow around but it's thawing. Bonus is I've read 2 books and nearly finished knitting a cowl. I've finished the Songbirds book, a very interesting book. I'll join in the discussion at the end of the month. Good luck with your running challenge.
Well done with your walking and running 😊 Could you move your treadmill over so you can see outside into the garden if you open the back door? Your casserole looks very tasty ~ I can almost taste all the goodness in it!
On week 2 of 10 miles/ week over here! Had a bit of catch-up to do this weekend too. I feel you-It’s hard to find the time during the work week. On to the next! ❤
Unfortunately the ground is far too icy for me to walk, so treacherous under foot, even with walking poles, nearly slipped the other day and having broken my leg in the past on ice, I’m very wary. We have compacted snow here and sheet ice. I was in plaster from groin to ankle for weeks, but still managed to do a 12hr night shift as a nurse! Casserole looked delicious. Well done for keeping up with your goals. X💕
I read my book by the cooker too. Nice and warm and away from the TV. You are doing really well with your walking and running. I've only got as far as downloading the app! I do try and get out for a good walk everyday, even on work days as I have to park the opposite side of town to my office. I always love seeing what you have for tea. I made a cheesey chicken pasta the other day using Boursin after watching your vlog making a pie with it. It was very nice and I'll definitely use it again. Thanks for the idea. X
Hi Sarah. Lovely relaxing vlog again. No walking for me…slipped in the garden the other night and hurt my leg and arm 😫 Just bruised, but what a nuisance. Your stew looks delicious…just right for this sort of weather. Take care x
I've been getting out most mornings, but am spent by afternoon. I'm seeing the rheumatologist tomorrow in Dublin to hopefully what is holding up my open heart surgery. I've promised my kids I'll move back to Michigan once I've fully recovered and they are getting impatient.
Your casserole looked delicious! We have a lot of these meals during the winter months as they are our favourites! I use my slow cooker a lot! Glad you managed a walk in the frosty weather - a brisk walk soon warms you up! That looked like a lovely Saturday for you all x
Love the beautiful bright blue skies even though it's so cold 🥶😊
Hi Janice. Yes I love a blue sky 😊
💕😀xx thanks Sarah. You’re VERY good and motivated on your running schedule. 🥰
Hi Sue. I’ve not walked as much as I could have but catching up this weekend 😊

It looks very cold outside, I wouldn't be able to handle your weather. Stay warm. Love your shawl so far, it's a nice red. 🥰
Hi Maria. It’s cold but fine with a warm coat 😊

Hi Carol. Sorry in debts. Forgot to answer, yes my green cardi is crocheted 😊

Hi well done with your walks and finishing the book. I’m enjoying it so far but dreading something horrible happening 😊
Well done with your walking and running 😊 Could you move your treadmill over so you can see outside into the garden if you open the back door? Your casserole looks very tasty ~ I can almost taste all the goodness in it!
Hi Caroline. I could move the treadmill or open the door, but it’s too cold at the moment and I’m getting used to it 😊
On week 2 of 10 miles/ week over here! Had a bit of catch-up to do this weekend too. I feel you-It’s hard to find the time during the work week. On to the next! ❤
Hi and well done with your regular walking. Hope I can keep it up too 😊

Hi Barbara. Stay safe. Not worth taking the risk. How on earth did you work with POP on your leg! 😊
