A strong sense beautiful and entered in an atmosphere
It was excellent. I don't know why people have so many negative comments. Can they sing? Probably not. Your the singer. You should have a Recording contract.
Well why doesn't he? Because his singing voice isn't unique nor can he properly sing. His voice is pretty sure but technique wise, leaves a lot of be desired.

I like to here breathing in music. It shows the emotion and makes the artist seem more human. Its just more real

you know you can sing, but your voice is not for this song. this song is supposed to be rough, gritty and pain filled. you're doing everything wrong in this song: not using chest voice on the high notes; not belting; you're singing somewhere in the back of your throat; using falsetto; you're softening everything completely every single note. your voice works well in sexy r&b songs, not gritty torch songs.
Or...and here's a crazy theory but...he's making a COVER of it, not IMITATING it, and he didn't WANT it to have a gritty sound
