what is the pipe you have on her? is it louder or quieter then the stock exhaust? I've never looked into it because after removing the baffle in mine I thought it was loud enough that and i like the carbon fibre look

It's a Termignoni titanium muffler. I bought it in around 2008. With a db killer fitted it's not too loud for the street.

Hi Mike, Hoping you can help. my TNT 1130 is new to me. Bought it with seven thousand miles. On the first ride within four miles it died and would not restart. I would like to know where to start. The battery is good and I have ridden the bike up and down my road many times it always started and didn't give me any trouble. Help John

      Hi John,
It would be better to post your question in the Benelli forum for expert advice.

      However some things to check...
Is the fuel pump running when you turn on the ignition? Does the dash light up, if not check the 30amp fuse on the starter solenoid. If ok but just the starter motor doesn't turn over it could be the starter solenoid or clutch lever micro switch. Also check the fuses under the seat.

Hi Mike, do you know if alternators on TnT or Trek are interchangeable with other models? I have TReK 1130 2016 model, and it does not produce enough power.

The alternators are interchangeable but also repairable. The best place to ask is either the Benelli Forum,
      www.benelliforum.com
or Alex at Maniac Motors in Germany.

Mike thanks for the video. Did this solve your hot start issue? Seems there are a lot of different fixes for this issue

I replaced the solenoid because it was faulty. The hot start issue is a bit more involved. Early bikes had clearance problems with the starter motor gear (Z 25) gear. When the engine was hot this gear lost all clearance and could bind. The Z25 & clutch baskets were updated in a recall (2008). Not all bikes were done though. The starter motor was also updated at around this time with different gearing. I'm told that uprating the starter motor cables & fitting a Lithium battery will also help with hot starting if it's still an issue after all the recalls are done. The Benelli forum is the best place to ask for help if you are having problems.

I own one of the tnt 1130 cafes in India. Only 3 were sold in the entire country! I have a lot of difficulty figuring parts and tutorials, the damn bike doesn't start after a little ride, i fear stopping at fuel stations thinking it won't start. The battery dies often ... Can anyone help , i read it is the terrible battery. Then something about z25 gearing but mine is a 2016 so do i still have that issue? Forums for Benelli are pretty non existent ...

The z25 gear issue was fixed in the later models so you should be ok. Some owners upgraded the battery cables and run a battery with greater cranking amps. Lithium batteries work best if you can afford them.

Whilst it primarily covers the Tornado this web site has a lot of info applicable to the TnT.
