I always wondered why our "southern Italian (Basilicata) folk music" sounded so different than other Italian music... Then, I heard Greek music, and it all made sense... We southerners have more in common with Athens than we do with Milan or Fiorenza, those mangiapolenta! They are more "southern Swiss" than they are "Northern Italian"... I hate pesto, lol
O Madonna...You can't double up on the starches...You can't have a seafood risotto (with no actual pieces of seafood, only the broth, of course) AND the pasta at the same time; it's a sin! (I dunno, these Americans, they ask for spaghetti... maybe they really like starch? Just MAKE IT MAKE IT MAKE IT!)
Absolutely glorious. I remember falling in love with song when I saw the movie, over 20 years ago. His voice is so pure and true. Thank you!
I'm eating delicious pasta and sauce from a Montréal chef while listening to this. Perfecto!
