I have a B2650 and the wheel base is very narrow stock. Even with spacers it wouldn't do this property everywhere. I wish it did! I did look into it though. Thanks.
I also have a Cyclone Rake XL and absolutely love it. If the leave are damp it is much more difficult. I lift the deck up and take a smaller "bite" of the leaves. I have had my "XL" for about 8 years. I live, a little, south of Burlington, Vermont. The season has been latter this year.
Howdy neighbor. This was my third season and I usually don't rush it. I get out there a few times but life got in the way this year. It handled all well just tried too much at once and yes, with the damp leaves it made it that much harder. Thanks for watching.
I was watching this video and it was what I wanted to see on how well it performs with thick leaves, I have a zero turn 42 inch and was thinking of going with the XL model because of the amount of oak leaves I have, about 1.4 acres of land... any suggestion of this would be a good idea versus a smaller unit?
I think you get double the value in the XL myself. I believe it literally holds double the amount of leaves than the standard rake. Plus you get an upgraded hose and dual wheels that hold the heavier loads butter and easier to navigate around the yard. The other thing I like on these rakes is that they also mulch as they are being collected. The XL has an extra blade on suction fan. They also usually run better specials on the XL. Either way you won't be disappointed. Good Luck!
@@michaelchesley3763 what size mower do you have though? My only concern is the extra size and weight if that would even matter, I have a Toro Time Cutter zero turn 42 inch...
I also have a tow behind lawn rake that does a pretty decent job. That’s why I haven’t died the hose on the lawn vac. It works really well if the leaves are dry. Not so much if they are wet.
The Biggs 10hp just isn't strong enough. Run the bagger that came with my Kobota GR2120 diesel has no prob with messes like this. The advantage of the Cycloe is it does not need to be emptied very few minutes.
Looks great! I bought the Cyclone XL this fall. I have it on my Kubota BX2670. We have a great deal of leaves and I am very impressed with it so far. I have an eXmark zero turn but opted to install in on the BX. You have a great setup, especially that chipper! Thanks for the videos.
You got in a good days work buddy 👍🏻. The hose extension is pretty cool 👍🏻. Looks like you had some great days in Florida, how did you like the new grips? Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family 🦃👍🏻
That hose extension is great for piles like that. Also great for doing culverts and drainage ditches. Those grips are awesome! Since I don't wear a glove and with the heat and humidity it was important to have that corded feel.
My leaf vac is down this season. It needs a new hose. The old one is patches on top of patches . I usually run over mine once with the mower alone and chop them up really fine and then hit them with the lawn vac. I think that mine is a Brillon brand. Had it for years and years. It starts under load and almost always on the first pull. If it doesn’t, it will wear you down in a hurry.
I figured I would just plow through that stuff and it would take it in as it could but at some point it just kept mulching under the deck and then you can hear where it just sucked a huge chunk at once an clogged. Operator misuse.
It's always tough to come back from a warm climate area after some rounds of golf and you are hit with the cold weather. The suction hose worked well. Happy Thanksgiving!
Yes it is! This was a big slap in the face getting off that plane here in NH. That cyclone is a great machine. Just need to make sure I use it properly. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Best mower I've ever had. Super powerful engine and I mainly got it for handling slopes. My other mower couldn't mow side to side without losing the front end down the slope.
You should get the bagger for the BX. Youll have the mess cleaned up in a fraction of the time!

When the leaves build up in the front, all you have to do is back up

I'm very pleased with my XL unit. The XL gets you a larger diameter hose and a larger engine (better suction). @@Chevxjoe

Definitely a great tool to have, James. Thanks for watching and your support.

Good morning Dave.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving, Gary. I hope you and your family have a blessed day!

Your mower is a zero turn with a steering wheel?
How do you like it?

Get rid of the terribly loud music. I would rather just listen to you.
Noted 😅
