I believe in Matt’s rack effects back stage there is a digitech whammy pedal synced via midi to the click track which automates the pitch shifts so he can move around/focus on playing the notes

It would certainly make sense to do that if you're moving around a lot. Though it's nice to have control over it too!

Interesting that you mentioned those offstage effects. Id love for you to do a video on that alone, you’re as curious as I am about how they achieve their live sound.

I also own a Boss GT-1000, instead of making 3 separate patches (actually that behind the nut part is actually 2 octaves), I make 3 assign matrices that controls the max pitch of the pedal bend, that is if you have enough assign available
Also can you share your patch? I’m still working on how to get it to sound good like yours but can never get quite right

      Hey.
Cool to hear you got around the patches a different way!
Thanks for the complement on tone, always appreciated. I tried to download my patches but unfortunately there seems to be an issue with the GT1000 software (probably because I haven't updated in a while - but the problem is that if I do the update, I lose all my current patches). If I figure it out anytime soon, I'll upload and let you know.
