Love the idea that adex is like a 1 stop Shop with all interchangeable pieces! Looks like with my Arc and your videos I have more than enough for the next 5-10 years!

With these add on sleeve weights it seems like you could make the Adex mace much more manageable and able to doing coin flips. The problem before was that if you add weights the head would get long. But for the heavy club handles these seem perfect. It is interesting to see that it actually comes with a new threaded spindle. It shows it on the website, but it was not clear if that was just there for reference or if it was a part of the Ad-on bundle.

I've been using a single spin lock dumbbell handle and a barbell connector with 5 pounds of plates on it to make it ~12.5# while getting used to 360s and in/outside circles. Great tutorials and training philosophy.

Love the idea. I just bought some Origin Indian clubs that work very similarly and have been having a ton of fun with those. Been thinking I might jump into heavy club swinging if I can find a local instructor for them.

Mark, thank you for your continuously high quality uploads; you have been a blessing over lockdown. Until, I came across your channel - I had never considered any form of club swinging, however, I am now seriously considering purchasing a club. These Adex maces look absolutely fantastic; but, the cost of shipping and import duties to Europe, would make a purchase prohibitively expensive. I would be interested to see you do a comparative video comparing the merits/demerits of the Adex Mace with the Pahlavandle.

  • @muaychris

500dollars shipping to the UK for the mace.
If there was a UK or EU distributer though..

@@MarkWildman UK import tax on goods is awful and even gets applied to second hand goods these days which stopped me buying guitar parts from USA. Makes buying gym kit from overseas uneconomical. Also means buying your merch gets a 22% tax right of the bat :(

Hello Mark, you have previously mentioned a gun getup exercise with clubs that replaces TGU - if I am not mistaken. Can you please make a video on that? It so happens that I have shipped all my stuff for relocation and I only have one club with me for the next 7 weeks.

Cool review. I'm just getting into clubs and maces (I found your RUclips channel because of kettlebells). I saw the videos on the heavy clubs vs. mace and which one to get / train first (heavy club). I've seen some of the Adex Arc videos but didn't see if the Arc is versatile enough to get first or if you would recommend still starting with heavy clubs. I have some kettlebell experience but no heavy club or mace experience. If you already have a video that covers this I apologize.

Love the Adex products, but 2 adjustable 25lb mace from them or buy 300+ pounds of plates. Looks like a great product, but you definitely pay a premium.

Awesome! Maybe i'll buy them when back in stock. Shipping to Europe will be expensive tho. Since I'm from Europe I'm kinda stuck using clubbells from 'Capital-sports', wich are great value for money. They do get slippery sometimes in a longer set, or with sweaty hands. Have you ever used tennis/golf grip on clubbells to solve that issue?

Yes, but it's not a very grippy texture. It's very similar to the orange peel style of drywall texture. The material is pretty slick as well.
