Hello NKOTD! RUclips suggested your channel this morning, so I checked it out. I enjoyed the content, so I’ll be back to watch you again. Have a great day!
hello Mark! thank you for stopping in and checking out our channel, we’re honoured to share our passion for sailing and exploring with you on here. hope to see you again soon and thank you for the comment! ❤ Phoebe
I’m learning aussie English with your channel❤️🧡 This is my dream channel about everything. nature, you!, your voice, you guys, your conversations and more ! I’m very happy that I found it 🤍 Thank you for making these videos and other social medias
@@Thenewkidsonthedock Yeah it’s pretty hard😂 but that’s why I love this channel, I’m checking how well I can listen to your voice and learning new accents. I think I’ll talk like you in the near future haha😉
You two are so fun, smart and well spoken. I’m a bit surprised the RUclips algorithm hasn’t rewarded y’all yet. Don’t give up, it’ll take eventually :)
thank you so much for this comment, it means a lot to us! YT seems to be a bit funny sometimes, but we’re going to keep creating and sharing our excitement for life regardless of the outcome. quality over quantity ❤
it’s our absolute pleasure to share our travels with you, and we’re so pleased they’re being enjoyed. thank you so much for watching and for your comment, David! ❤
Awesome Video guys…GREAT to meet you today Josh & help with the fuel run in our Ute…all the best for the future…might see ya’s on the water someday ( from another Birdwatcher 👍🏼☺️)
Hey Kiri! So awesome to meet you and grateful for your help with the fuel run. The more I think about pushing 90L of fuel in a steel trolley along a rough path with the electric skateboard the happier I am that I didn’t have to! Thanks again and hope to see you out there 😁 Josh
Super video again guys. This one was especially well put together. Great edit legends. Wishing that you both have and experience amazing things in the future.
Hey Dan it’s Josh, thanks for the love mate. Glad you liked the edit and appreciate your comment letting us know. You’re a top bloke and we wish the same for you, cheers bro
I think it’s AMAZING that people’s put together things like Bird 🦜 books. 😊 also Tree, grasses, reptiles, fish, it’s a plethora of knowledge. It’s also amazing and wonderful! 🤔 👍😃
Hi Beautiful’s I absolutely LOVE your amazing dance together. What a perfect spot with a perfect view. Great shots of the koala’s who were sleeping in the tree. What a beautiful animal. I Freaking LOVE Coconuts. I drink the water first and PraiseGod every sip then I eat the meet and PraiseGod with every bite. I loved watching your first BD wow! She was big and she loved the water. Sounds like you have so many amazing memories with her. Loved the video and appreciate all the hard work that goes into making these videos for us all to be Blessed. PeaceAndLove Lori
hello Lori! thank you so much for your lovely comment, your excitement and enthusiasm is reason enough for us to continue to make these. the quiet moments with the koalas were very, very special. we’re absolutely obsessed with coconuts since this trip, and feel very fortunate to fill up the cockpit with coconuts and drink and eat as many as humanly possible 🥰 the next time we crack one, we’ll think of you. big love, Phoebe x
Such a joy to watch. Maggie Island is one of my most fav places. It was a magical time living in Townsville. The great memories came rushing back. Thank you.
we’re so pleased this was a nostalgic episode for you! I’m sure you recognised a lot of it. we’re very eager to get back again and make some more memories. thanks for the comment! ❤
great episode . I lived in Townsville way back in 1974/75/76 ( army ) My regret , was never getting to Mag Island . Watching this , shows me what I missed . I'm looking past all the development , just the scenery . Thank you I may be speaking out of turn , but I do think it's illegal to carry a knife in public in Qld . Even though you used to open coconuts etc , so be careful . Most cops won't care , but there is always one that won't care why you are carrying it .
it truly is a remarkable island! I hope you get the opportunity to see it again in your lifetime, although strong recommend to go in the Winter months - it’s busy, and cooking! 🔥 thanks for the feedback on the knife! thankfully we were the only ones on this beach only accessible via dinghy, but it’s very good to keep in mind for future as since then we’ve often opened coconuts in public. cheers, Bob!
Hi guys, we were just over at Magnetic Island and saw a mother and baby so cute. We are now at Breakwater Marina until Sunday then we are heading back over to Maggie for a few days then heading further north we were hoping to get to lizard but not going to happen this season so planning on Cairns, hope to see around Dean and Ro.
Thank you. Was that building up on the rocks a coast watch site from WW2? I didn't know Sonya was you second attempt at parent hood. I think you're doing a very nice job. Quite the dance couple also. Love you. Stay safe. ❤🙏
thanks steve! yes it’s one of the many forts of the Forts Walk on Maggie Island. it hosts stunning views of the bays, and easy to see why they were vital for WW2
Magnetic Island is rich in pirate treasure history. There are carvings telling of direction In Japanese. Famous pirate Yammada Nagamasa . Love ya vids guys. ❤
Yeah well, so Sofia doesn't like that. Poor girl. Sorry where was I.? Thank you for sharing. Yes it was worth the wait. All the best guys. Great editing too. Take care.
@13:33 one of my favourite sayings is "If it's not worth waiting for, it's not worth having", my answer to why I only drink real coffee and not instant, but it applies to everything thing in life, I'm sure you 2 will get it.
nothing good is easy, and nothing easy is good 😌 we find many opportunities to apply that to life as full time sailors. cheers dave! enjoy a hot, well brewed coffee for us as we sit in this very roley anchorage right now 🙃
@@Thenewkidsonthedock attach a dock line to the anchor chain about 3-5 m from the boat, then use the aft cleats with the other end of the dock line to pull the boat so it sits bow into the waves and have a better sleep 👍
My Dear Old Dad had a pet Frill Neck up in Darwin. So you grab your favourite pair of old stockings and tie it around your dearly beloved Bearded Dragons called (Sonya’s) front legs as tightly and best you can and take her for a run.😊on a leash. Or as Dad would just keep him tied to a tree all day. It would climb the tree, so had some freedom this way.❤
A frilly would’ve been such a great pet! Sonya often reminds us of a frilly as she puffs out her beard when she’s in the sun. she seems to enjoy sticking by us and being free-range, but we’re looking for ways to keep her on-deck as she gets older because she’ll be able to jump out of the cockpit soon! perhaps the stocking leash will be the trick! cheers for the comment ❤ Phoebe
there's a coconut that you look for when it's starting to sprout, you can see a new shute coming out of the top of the coconut and supposedly if you crack that open the whole in side is coconut meat and is supposed to be pretty damn tasty but you have to time it just right there's a sweat spot ( no pun intended) in which you can eat them..... so I've heard
yes! fairy floss coconuts, we’ve heard a lot about these and had the opportunity to try one on Brampton Island. they’re soooo delectable, and very special because as you said it’s easy to get ones that’s a bit rotten😂 cheers! Phoebe
‘…The harder you have to work for something, the more rewarding it is…’ yeah your boyfriend did all the work, you just waited till it was ready to drink😂 Is he allowed to speak in your vlogs without your permission?

He’s gunna bust a knee cap or both. I think you should let him get up on his own. 😮
Your bravery is commendable but those drop bears are terrifyingly violent, you should be careful how close you approach. :)P
it’s the drop bears with Chlamydia you really have to watch out for! 😂
Wow, should have gone on to RUclips and watched someone open a coconut ready for drinking, there is a process !
he’s definitely got the knack of it now! sometimes it’s fun to learn by doing…even if it’s the long way 😂
Josh should make Sonya a Pegged leg...

Green mangos and sour fizzy coconut juice?😂
we’re really living the life! 😂

it looked like some kind of interpretive dance! regardless, it was really lovely to see him enjoying and expressing himself through movement 🥰
