@Eastside Dumbbell apples and oranges - power delivery/riding experience is completely different. A liter bike is not comparable to a V-twin, in any way. The V-twin motor will need to be shifted at a much lower RPM, compared to a modern sportbikes inline/crossplane motor that lives in the 6-12k rev range. V-Twin motors make lots of torque, inline/crossplane motors make horsepower and less torque. Both types of bikes are fun to ride, but to compare the motor's performance to one another is not very comparable. With that said, I've ridden both Sportbikes and V-Twin motors, V-Twins have what seems like instant power compared to a sportbike motor, but that advantage is short-lived, sport bikes are monsters. I've never seen a Harley pull a 3rd gear wheelie at 100+ MPH. Again not comparable.
@@MrCyclee well my bike is a 1200 few mods here and there I can get it to come up…but you have to pop the clutch and throttle it that guy looked like he went from a 1/4 to 100% throttle and it power wheelie. I could be wrong though
@@dantevega522 I had to rewatch the video because its been so long. he had a cam upgrade from what i remember and i think it was a 103 ci engine stock i think it was a 88ci the sportsters are also front heavy where as the dyna weigh is further back. he still popped the clutch though i dont think any harley under lets say a 107 could power wheelie with just throttle. i have a 117 street glide and when i tested the 117 lowrider it wasnt doing any power wheelies
@@MrCyclee ok that makes sense because you have to really want to wheelie a Harley to do them and before the warriors come at me I’m not saying they can’t wheelie just that you have to TRY to do them
Jack up the rear end a couple of inches and put rearsets on it and it might be worthy of the R. This should be a bike that can go head to head with the likes of a Z1000 in the twisties and I just don't see that happening.
What the i thought all bikes moved when you let off the clutch? Maybe harleys are too heavy for that, but ive only ridden one harley and i didnt pay attention to the clutch but im pretty sure it still moved when you clutch out
MonstaFreak13 some Harleys have a wire clutch and others hydraulic. The wire will release the clutch much more slowly than a hydraulic so if you’re used to the wire it feels totally different
Whomst?? Me? Nah didnt want to get to fr ahead of the demo guy on the forty eight and cars were keeping me and the dyna from going at it i still took it so easy on him
I own an FXDR, and yeah, he was scared, there’s no video of the top speed of that thing on this channel. It’s governed in the ECM at 119 stock. Mine is getting a new cam, exhaust and tuner module. To kill the top speed limit in the ecm
@@doylee469 nope, you have no idea about what you are saying. There is no stock harley that can catch even a 1130cc vrod on a straight line acceleration
@@doylee469 im not mad, go back and read the comments. You'll notice you are the one getting mad and offensive. J L you must have been one of them there adult virgins. Anyway, it’s a v4 cruiser, so hopefully you’re not trying to compare an r1 to a v4 vmax. Educate yourself, I don’t give a hoot what you drive. "This bike is soooo fast"...lmao no its not. Its just a little faster than an already slow stereotypical harley. Still slow af though. Try a real sports bike.
4:43. This bike is so fast I love it yet I’m not going as fast as the slow cruisers lol
This guy: "So much torque😩💅" lmao
I just bought a FXDR. I can tell you that the torque is the selling point. You better have a strong grip.
IMHO~high HP is better than torque for speed.

I do be torqueing
How did he do that wheelie so easily on the dyna
harleys make wicked torque down low so i imagine its not very hard to do at all.

Great video, fantastic looking bike....... but what I am seeing here is a sporty at the lead 😉😉😀😀
He was the demo guy and i couldnt pass him. He was super cool though riding the way he was.
Mr Cyclee oh sorry, i tought he was your friend, anyways it is good video I enjoyed watching the fxdr. Have a nice day fella
@@ΖήσηςΜπουμπουλουδης thanks for the comment dude 😊 take care and ride safe
Is it that heavy? You barely can catch up with the other guy.
What's up with the modified harley , does that dude have a channel , what all has he done to get it to hustle

Whatts the maximum speed?
FXDR = 158mph straight from factory totally stock.
I test drove a 2019 fat bob. I wasn't expecting I had to move my boot all the way forward to shift. I'm used to shifting with the toe area of my boot.

Not really fast, just another single cam milwaukee 8.. try any v-rod and you will see fast
