I was hoping for a bit more technical information and comparison of them. Not just a sales pitch. What materials are the made from? How well are they constructed? What are they differences in the mechanism and Why one works better than the other.

Wouldn't it be possible to "smooth up" operation of the smaller model just by lengthening that lever with a snug piece of pipe or screwing on a longer handle directly?

Nice video Tim. I have a two handed corker that works well but it won't do #9 corks very well. I did about 4 batches of wine this year and I'm really thinking about the Italian corker.

Do you have to sanitize the corks if you are using one of these ??
