Congratulations! It was my first ever competition and so much fun. I really hope there will be more. It did make me smile when I opened the puzzle and I recognised it from your video.

Ha ha! Yes, I couldn’t believe it when I saw it!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it - I think it went so well and can’t wait for the next one! 😍

Hi Vicky. I agree, Do the hardest section first. I recently did a 1000 piece Zebra only puzzle. Hard to do is an understatement but I did it. Enjoy your day. From Julie in Central Queensland Australia😂

Usually I don’t do hardest first, but I’m starting to see the merit in it! Your 1k zebras puzzle sounds tough 😯 I think I’ll steer clear of zebra puzzles for a bit myself 😆

Hi Vicky, what a great experience with the first British Jigsaw Puzzle Association’s livestream 👍🥰. As far as the mystery puzzle goes, it looked really difficult 😣. As far as you having practised this already 🤣🤣🤣oh my giddy aunt🤣🤣🤣. Please by a lottery ticket. Wonderful stuff. Warm wishes from us in Oz. Mark+Chris

Ha ha ha! I really wish it worked with lottery wins too!! I’d be super rich 🤣
Yes it was a tough puzzle, even the second time around!
Thank you so much for your support as always x

Well done Vicky, congrats! 🤩🎉 I also have Zebras at Waterhole, waiting... 😅🙈 I actually have 3 zebra puzzles so I'm planning to become a "zebra specialised puzzler" (term by Emilia Liberman) 🤣

Congratulations! I took part too - those zebras were hard! Thanks for the video - it was great to see how someone else got and and which order the puzzle was done. Looking forward to the next one.

You definitely made me laugh, just the way you did when you saw what puzzle they chose. You have magical powers, heehee!😂
Wonderful side by side comparison of techniques!

      I know! I couldn’t quite believe it! 😆
Thanks Betty - I’m glad you liked the side by side - I had to squish them a bit to fit them in, but I like the affect! 😍

I laughed really hard when I saw what jigsaw you were doing in the competition, I think I have to make the "burn the witch" joke at this point :D 6th solo place is great, congratulations!
As for Purrfect Peace jigsaw, I feel that starting with the cat makes sense - cause it's a relatively clear (colour/visuals wise) and distinct chunk of pieces that doesn't take too big of a part in the jigsaw, thus is not too challenging, so it sounds like a good starting point in general.

🤣🤣 “burn the witch!” - lol! You caught be out! 🧙
Yes, I agree about Purrfect peace - I don’t think the cat was quite big or tough enough to test this theory fully. It was still a good experiment though. I have another one now that I can test this on, a much tougher one. We’ll see how I do with that! 😍

Hi! Thank you for watching! Yes, I think Anneka interviewed everyone 😊 I only really shared footage of me because I wasn’t sure if anyone else would want to appear on RUclips ☺️

How did you find doing the cat first in Purrfect Peace? Do you think it saved you any time?

So I honestly did feel less stressed further into the puzzle, less tired and more motivated, if you see what I mean. Also clearing out the pieces that represent the biggest section really helps when building the rest of the puzzle since there seem to be hardly any pieces left by the time you’ve done it. One thing that helped with the cat is that it isn’t massive, but also it’s in the corner, so having the edge as a framework to work within was good. I’m not sure if it helped make me faster, but I was surprised with my time on this one, I thought it would take longer!
A great puzzle to test this theory on would be that golden retriever puzzle that you sent to me! I suspect that will be a pig to do first!! 😆
