Love the use of the smoke machine. I am seriously going to have to look at investing in something like that. I have a few spots in my campaign where it would be perfect.
Stunning!! Love the color scheme. The way you have the top and bottom pieces mesh together was impressive. Shows how you can different mediums together to great fantastic pieces for the table. That hot wire gadget is pretty cool. The smoke and accessories help to make this build pop on the table. Great video John. The potion bottles look pretty cool too.
A canyon was knighted for its exceptional contribution to satire From then on, the canyon was referred to as Sir Chasm... Excellent texturing on the cliff/wall faces. Bonus cheese: When the 'mites go up and the 'tites come down.
Thanks Rick. That second channel really made a huge difference. Not only spreading out the smoke but reducing the flow out of the main channel it kept the smoke low to the table.
Great video as usual. They are stalagmites. Stalagmites "might" reach the roof someday. Stalactites hold "tight" to the roof. Now you'll never forget. 🙂
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT Is the CoS stuff a specific location or a general environment? Because I have money riding on a certain location. Even still, love your work!
Great build. Really looking forward to your CoS build. Do you buy a new smoke machine for each build or do you just move it around as your using the pieces?
Thank you! It’s coming along real nice!! I have 4 but I make all my builds so one will work (when I only use one) and you can move it from craft to craft.
thats awesome!!! maybe a stupid question, but how do you prevent your terrain pieces from sticking to each other in storage or transportation? I tried making dungeon tiles, but the paint (acrylic) from different pieces always tends to stick to each other and tears it off (despite giving it enough time to dry). It happens even after using the terrain sealer from army paint which is why I hesitate from starting projects like yours :/
excellent technique as always! but it's almost as if purchasing the dungeons and lasers stuff is pointless with your techniques. but it was an excellent way to tie in a sponsorship.
No disrespect, but why would someone kickstart a project that you can do yourself now, for less? It's not like these health potions have not been a DIY thing for years now. Dollar store for the stopper bottles and coloured jute, and LGS for a bunch of 4 sided. Even if your local dollar store doesn't carry these stopper bottles, there are plenty of them for cheap on eBay and would likely get them before the KS launches. Just my $0.02.
I guess it's like how you could also grow all your own food, but it's easier to just go to the supermarket. Some people probably just want to game and aren't really into the crafting side of things. I don't really know for sure, as I'm not into DnD and whatnot. I build Gunpla, just subbed for diorama techniques.
@@Shin_Lona Sure, if growing your own food only entailed buying some dirt and sprinkling few seeds. You literally just have to put dice in a bottle. Wrap some twine if you feel "crafty".
I second that. Pay money, if you're that lazy. I don't care. But like pazuzu said: nothing is easier than those bottles. The hardest thing to craft are barrels, imho. I did two, but never again. That's worth buying.
@@heiker1351 Right? So easy to make. The craziest part to me is to Kickstart this. I could see a few ppl impulse buying these, ready made, in a store, on a whim. But, why would you think "Oh, I want those so badly I will KS this and wait however long" when you could get them the same day for less money, assuming you leave the house at all 😂

Awesome!! They’re a fun addition.
stalactites hang tight to the ceiling is how i always remember it. :D
Perfect! Thank you.
And stalagmites might reach the ceiling some day.
I always just think T is hanging down and M are pointing up!
I go with stalaCtites hang from the Ceiling, and stalaGmites grow from the Ground.
I was always told tites (tights) come down and mites climb up.
Great build, and the dungeons and lasers stuff looks really good.
Thank you! Their tiles are solid.
Gonna do this kickstarter for sure.
Right on, thank you!

Well done Sir haha.. I really don't know how you come up with these so quickly haha. Great tip btw! Until next time...
Right on, sensei! I really like the way you hid the smoke machine and created two channels for it too. - Rick

Love how they fit together. I may need to look into a handheld foam cutter!
I’ve bought a lot in my day. Almost a yearly purchase until I came across the Hotwire Foam Factory brand. They’re worth it.
Wyrmwood sent me! Hi!
Awesome! Welcome to the channel :)
Fantastic build and again, another new technique to try out! Looking forward to the next couple of vids….get the feeling my mind will be blown!
Right on Andy!!
That's the way those should be used! 💪🏻

If you like Curse of Strahd, the AL campaign for the season (Misty Fortunes and Absent Hearts) is also really spectacular there.
I’ll check it out! Thanks.
Really awesome build!!! ❤😊❤
Thank you !!!!!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT you are welcome 🤗
I always think of stalactites as they have to hold on tight or they'll fall from the ceiling.
Good one!
cant wait for the Curse of Strahd stuff
Same here. It’ll be a 2 part video!! Loving this campaign!

Hello, what smoke machine do you use, which produces a lot of smoke? thank you so much.
It’s from Costronica.

omg! I've read so many ways to remember stalactite and stalagmite that I forgot my own method that I've used for 40 years.
Oh no haha.. same boat here.
stalactite has a c for ceiling, stalagmites have a g for ground. You were close though! 50/50 shot :P
Lol.. isn't that the way it goes :) Thanks!

Thank you, and great question. I spray mine with Krylon Matte Varnish. They might still stick a bit but no paint comes off.
