Seriously this short film made me cried when watching it, because it made me think of my own father since losing him recently. Definitely one of my favorites animated shorts.
I recently lost my younger brother this past year, it was very difficult for me to live with the fact he was going to be gone forever. But looking back i feel blessed that he got to live as long as he did. When he was born he had a stroke and suffered from spinibifida and cerebral palsy. the doctors said we shouldnt expect him to live past his teens. But year after year he proved them wrong. He lived until his 20s before passing in his sleep. He had some major surgeries coming up that could have caused more complications in his life and im happy he didn’t have to suffer going through them. We played a lot of video games together and when i play them now i think back to us playing games together. Im hoping he’s enjoying being up in heaven with my grandmother and the rest of our family. ❤
I was following this for a few months and the creativeness of this short film and the effort the creator took 3 years to make this and he has many shorts on how he made them i hope one ay we can get a full paper movie
I watched this today too and the reaction you had with tying it to your personal life was the same thing I experienced with it. It was so beautiful of a short film and it resonated so well. My father was the same way as your mother, and we havent quite gotten to the relationship that I'd like to have yet. But the film made me question that relationship. Thank you for reacting to it. The creator deserves all the exposure he can get.
I don’t get moved to the point of tears over any media, but this one certainly made it feel like the floodgates opened, even if it was just a little crack.
It's hard for me to cry. But in 2022, i lost my first grandparent. Im 21, and due to how I was raised, even if he denies it now, it is so hard for me to cry. But this short had me bawling.
If you guys wanna know, this short film is entirely made out of paper. This 9 minutes short film takes 3 years to make. Trust me when I said this is the most beautiful thing I ever watch❤

This film took a really long time for them to make as well. It's really beautiful considering the amount of work put into it.
