Hi I upgraded mine with the firecuda 530, transfer speeds up to 7GB/s. Never had any problems runs great and fast..

That firecuda 530 still going strong? Was about to buy one yesterday but a lot of the reviews said they were failing recently.
if you want a different plate on your PS5 just take it off and airbrush it. The new PS5s wont be able to use the new panels likely and you could really just slap decals on it otherwise. As terrible as the shell design is for functionality, you might as well do whatever to the leftover ones you get your hand on.
One of the main reasons for the ps5 controller not staying charged as long is the fact that it’s always picking up. Sounds close to you. The default settings will be trying to pick up. Sounds so you just have to turn off the mic in the controller and adjust settings in the controller. RUclips a video for ideal ps5 controller settings to save battery.
I just bought a 12 foot charge cord and the controller charges as I play.
I love the fact about how if your ps5 brakes u can put the m.2 drive in a new ps5 and you won't have to reformat letting you keep your games unlike the switch

I dig the steamdeck ssd expansion option but if they made it for the PS5, I'd be fine with it if they gave you the option to choose between storing ps4 or ps5 data storage (by choice). I was wanting to eventually shop for red and black ps4 official face plates but like others have pointed out they are out if stock. It's a bummer that you can only get them overpriced by scalpers like $50-$80 dollars.

Thats how it would work since it would just see it as an expandable storage drive since its ultimately going through the USB port. I made my own Version by purchasing a basic 2TB NVME SSD for PC, (NOT The GEN 4) but the GEN 3 version which is still extremely fast for transfering games at around 3500mb/s for $75. Then I just spent 10 bucks on a super slim NVME External Case making it the SSD Portable. Then mounted it on top of the PS5 where it looks like its part of it. So yeah, It does hold ps5 games, ps4 games , and whatever you throw on it since its just Storage. So If run out of space on the Faster SSD, It only takes less than 5 minutes to transfer/swap a PS5 game with another so I can play it. I did this like 8 months ago and didnt care to shell out alot of money when I knew this method would perfectly viable, 3 times cheaper, and I can take the Portable NVME I made and use it for transfering shit from my PCs or Laptops as well. PCI 3.0 NVMEs SSDs are still the best option by far at SSDs right now. Fuck those slow WD 4TB Disk Drive and Dont waste your money on a (Prebuilt External SSDs) that are overpriced. 2TBs of 3500mb is damn near the same price as a 4TB External that run at 150-200mb a second. Do what I did, its by far the best way to go.
The PS5 attachable screen. The most expensive way to solve the issue the PS5 has. It's not flat to put things on top of it.
Hey inventors, want a cheap thing you can make for the PS5 that people will buy? A cheap way to make the PS5 flat so i can put some of my older consoles on top of it like my PS3 so i can stack that to play my MOTORSTORM games that are still better than anything else SONY has put out in a decade.
i just started gaming in my late 30s and filled up my internal PS5 storage within a week, then installed a 4TB Silicon Power SSD, and it's been working really well for the price!
Personally I want the Sony midnight plates but they have been out of stock for a while now
So easy to spray your own white plates with grey primer, then black top coat. I even added rainbow glitter to mine. Its on my channel somewhere. Won't add a link, it's not about me!

you get clud back ups with your saves and if you wanna try out a game before you download it the streaming is rwally nice
i havent played alot of classic games tho even tho thats the main selling point of premium
the cloud backups is really nice especially if you need to move saves quickly btween an old ps4 console or if something happens to your storage if you hve an external device that loses reliability over time

I got a 1tb samsung 908 pro and put it in my ps5. It's been randomly cutting off ever since.
My 4tb Seagate firecuda (Yeah I'm that guy🤦🏾♂️) has been doing me right. I've got 102 games on my system library now and haven't touched my console storage

Get you plates for your PS5 not them PlayStation ones or dbrand. They sale ones with holes in the side to help the fans breathe they are the best.

I would pick a PC. Hell, I picked a Steam Deck over the PS5 because I couldn't get one until 2 weeks ago. I love my PS5, but I'm now taking a wait and see on all third party games to see where they run better, PC or PS5.

Only way to boost speed really is to lower resolution output to 720p I get way less fps drops
Does the 2tb WDBlack SSD have a FULL 2tb of usable space? The Samsung does.
Every ssd is the actual size it shows a 4tb is a full 4tb, a 2tb is a full 2tb regardless of manufacturer

Stick drift is avoidable. By using Hall effect instead potentiator sticks. Sony is just building a cheap controller and selling it for $200. With smaller battery too

Wouldn't it be better to wait for the next PS5 update? According to history patterns, Sony should be releasing a ''SLIM'' or ''PRO'' PS5 in 2023 or 2024 which may have more storage, plus I don't know why Sony is not offering these STORAGE DRIVES? I have a 8TB external hard drive for my ps4 that I plugged into my ps5 unfortunately I can only play ps4 games from that hard drive I can invest in another one for about 80$ and install my whole library of ps4 games you just need about 500gb to 1TB of free space I save 860gb otherwise the games run slow or they crash repeatedly

Love your channel but Samsung absolutely sucks in all things computer related and I would steer clear and pay a bit more for SanDisk, Crucial or Kingston. You've been lucky to this point, but I hope you don't run into issues because in 30+ years working with computers and servers, there are 3 brands to steer clear of… Western Digital, PNY & Samsung!!!

Sony admitted that the battery life on their new edge controller is worse than the stock version that comes with the system. Sorry, I'll be able to buy 3 controllers for the price of one, and enjoy the extra battery life.
