When bodybuilders get lean for the season and get those 'striations' they lose a significant amount of strength. On the other hand powerlifters are mass monsters, and they move monstrous amounts of weight, mass moves mass. Also these big dudes need to carry around more bodyweight during the day so naturally (if the person keeps moving) they are going to be stronger

That's not to say a boxer and a sumo wrestler of fairly similar size would be a faceroll, but the sumo wrestler would still have the advantage of the grappling instakill. You can take some big punishment from a boxer as long as you're keeping your chin tucked in. But a boxer needs to step in for the strike at some point, and if a sumo wrestler grabs you during this process, which is likely given they're trained for the sole purpose of grabbing you, then you're bones are now about to have the meanest conversation you'll ever hear on whatever floor you had beneath you.
