Good program. I watch all of y’all’s videos. Cool you got together. When I get fully retired I’m going to start in with some pigeons. Erratic schedule now is preventing me from starting now. I’m in Central Texas.
I watch all three of your channels but maney s reminds me of when I used to fly the joy of seeing your birds come home is priceless you guys keep it up 😊😊😊
Great job getting the three of you together and comparing your different experiences and insights. I've followed all 3 channels for several years and enjoy them all. Keep up the great work. Happy flying!
Hi. I’ve enjoyed watching your videos my friend. Good job. When I was lad back in the 60’s I lived in a mining village. (Midlothian area). Pigeon racing was very popular. Not so popular now I don’t think. After a long working life I’ve retired recently. I don’t have my hobbies and think I might like to try this. I know nothing about the sport and to be honest don’t understand it completely . I have an unused outbuilding/ shed ( approx 4m x 4m). It is a very dry well insulated building. I think it would make an ideal loft with a little alterations. Design/layout is something I’d like to get right at this early stage. Any thoughts anyone?
Just a comment about 31:45 on inspiring the next generation, guys take a look at your RUclips demographic analytics. The next generation is there, they don't need inspiration. It is cost of living that is keeping young people out of pigeons, not a lack of interest.
We did discuss the demographics but ran out of time. Looks evenly spread between 25-65yr olds and 93% males. It's also a lot to do with time and commitment. Of all the sports and hobbies, would pigeons make the top 5 on the cost list? Here in England, probably not. It's much more expensive in certain parts of the US though right? Is it expensive in Australia?
@@pigeonracerTV a house suitable for pigeon racing in Sydney costs WELL in excess of $1.5 million, and we don't have allotments in Australia. That's what kept me on the sidelines for 10 years. Keeping pigeons on a rented property is near impossible, you need to buy the land, and it's prohibitively expensive.
@@AdamArcherPigeons Certainly expensive. I suppose it's the same in London. Are there other areas that are less expensive to buy/live and still have racing pigeon clubs?
I like your guests soft on with your choices. I want to be constructive and not negative. But you spent too much time talking and not enough questions for your guests.. I still watched all of it. I like Charlie in your other videos. I just had to mention him.
Maney and Dr. Robertson are two Very Great Pigeon Guys I have a lot of Respect for them.
