Well these cars are closer than you think! Here’s why: This Camry makes almost 270hp while the sti makes 305. However, the Camry has a a V6, unlike the STI which is smaller and has to rely on a turbocharger to spool. Camry is also automatic so it will have a perfect shift every time!
@@WheelsWithWillturbo doesn't wait to spool in a dig you goof. Only reason you "won" is because the sti driver sucks. The Camry is not faster, and you should have been done within a single gear, regardless of shifting.
@@WheelsWithWill this car with a turbo v6 would literally be so perfect. Could probably keep its reliability at low boost and have it still keep up with cars like the Kia stinger or q50 redsports in a close race.

Bc under controlled conditions with a real person driving the STI can do 60 over a second faster

Yes I was In manual mode! I actually messed up 1st-2nd gear and banged off the rev limiter lol

In the long run the sti is faster. The TRD Camry tops off at 125-135 mph the Sti tops off at 165-175 mph
