"Rammstein never thought about quitting. The songs on the new album are based on experiences and losses that band members have had. It is not a song that hints at the end of Rammstein. All band members still have a lot of fun with Rammstein" - Paul Landers. From "Taketonews".
they thought quite some time to leave the era behind due to corona - now the song has two messages - maybe leaving the past behind and starting new or quitting the chapter rammstein
This is not their goodbye song. Various band members confirmed it during their tour this year. This is a song about death and loss and how when you die, you die alone. But they'll still be there for you. It was the perfect song for them to end their concerts with.
to be honest i had same emotion after this song, that they end their band of smth, video is so suggestive of that, their avatars killed by themselves, my next idea was they might change their genre a bit leaving old stuff behind
That was the most adorable reaction I have seen in a while. You have this cute way of expressing your worry that Rammstein will end. What worries me more is Lindemann on his solo stuff not continuing. He is the person I adore and has enriched my life the most. Cheers.
Only death lasts forever It whispers under the pine branch Must draw everything into its darkness Even the sun will burn out [Pre-Chorus] But don't worry, we are with you One last time, so we sing [Chorus] Adieu, goodbye, see you again! You have to go the last way alone One last song, one last kiss No miracle will happen Adieu, goodbye, see you again! I had a nice time with you [Verse 2] You quietly rise from life The soul goes on a quiet journey Flesh perishes, spirit will rise The being will surrender to death (Yes) [Pre-Chorus] In the end, you are all alone But we will be with you [Chorus] Adieu, goodbye, see you again! You have to go the last way alone One last song, one last kiss No miracle will happen Adieu, goodbye, see you again! I had a nice time with you [Bridge] Everyone dies alone (All alone) But you will always be with us [Chorus] Adieu, goodbye, see you again! You have to go the last way alone One last song, one last kiss No miracle will happen Adieu, goodbye, see you again! I had a nice time with you For those who want to read the translation along with the video
I Loved your heartbreacking reaction!! Your panic by thinking it could be their last song is almost so wonderful as these fantastic clip from Rammstein. Another masterpiece from them. We all are refusing that this can be a goodbye song of Till''s Band.. I gonna see them at 26nd June @ Lisbon Benfica Stadium and I know that it will be probably the best concert of my Life, it will be very emocional certainly . You are very cute and we can see you have a good heart a good personality. Be Happy and we will pray we gonna have more Rammstein at future. Big Kiss since South Portugal
I want this played at my funeral ... in hopefully many many years. This whole album is just so so good. And I don't think this is a goodbye to Rammstein. They have a stadium tour planned for 22/23. And one of the other commenters stated that Paul said that they are still having fun and enjoying being Rammstein. So I think @Rodg G. is right about this song and about this mini movie.
You're so sweet! I don't know why so many think this is their farewell. The end of our time is death, that's what the song says. I knew when I first heard this song that it would be my last song. I want it played at my funeral.
Same here, more perfect, i speak 3 languages: French (Adieu), Englisch (Goodbye) and German (Auf wiedersehen) while my englisch is far from perfect that song just is it :3
If they quit, I'll be sad, at the same time if this was their last song, I would be satisfied. Because this would be the way they would want to go out. A proper send off song.
Don’t worry this is not the end !! Paul said it in an interview that they still got fun with Rammstein and this album is just about time and experiences from the members so even if this song may be like a goodbye song, it’s not :) And to me this song is following the mutter clip when they go and kill all of their clones, the cage they’re in seems to be the same as the one in Mutter clip, even it can be interpreted as they’re killing their « old self » because now Rammstein’s music is not exactly the same as the beginning so some people are saying that they’ve changed too much, so to me this clip is not like the end of something but the beginning of a new Rammstein kind which is even better than before !! But as always Rammstein’s song have so much different interpretations so you can make your own ! Greetings from France
As much as I like their older stuff, unlike most bands, they just keep getting better and better! Extremely rare. Benny from ABBA said it best. He said most artists start to fade after 8 years. When you think about a lotta great artists, seems to be mostly true.
"Rammstein never thought about ending it. The Songs on our new Album base on experiences of loss, the Bandmembers had to experience." -Paul Landers (Guitarist of Rammstein) ;) Even in case of a Zombie Apocalypse, they would keep on.
I wanted to say hi. Every now and then you slip into my feed. I just saw your first Rammstein reaction video and learned that you live in Germany. Then I saw your reaction video to Angst and learned that you are from Romania. Glad you are with us. You are a star in the future of this country. Stay as you are and keep up the good work.
Don't be afraid, you're Rammstein-Journey will not end. Believe me, they don't say goodbye to us. Thank you for your reactions. We see you 2023 with a lot of new Rammstein-Reactions. Greetings from Germany.
It was the closer to the "Zeit" album, which makes "Die Zeit mit dir war schön" (the time with you was beautiful) even better of a line. The cage, the clones, the writing on the door are most definitely all references to "Mutter", which marked a big change for Rammstein in their career and the members destroying the huge statues with their chains, standing on top of the cage (indeed their logo), in which they seemingly were being pulled in all directions from the hordes outside, and burning the other (old?) versions of themselves indicates another change. In "Deutschland", the red beam appeared to be the "red thread" (German expression), holding together history, so in this case it could be the band's history, as it stems from the cage but that and all the christian imagery I'm not really too sure about.
It's just a song. Relax. I don't think they are going anywhere. Some people say it's about their transition as a band from "old" Rammstein to "new" Rammstein. Also I think the video is about them going back in time to kill themselves so their future selves aren't enslaved.
i have been listening to rammstein since 1998 and i have only pain and tears from this song. thanks for everything rammstein ukraine remembers everything and knows everything that you have done for us, we will always listen to you.
It probably indeed is their last album. They announced it at the location in Berlin, where they played they ever first concert. So it makes sense to close the cycle. Personally i think it is a good decision. Never stop when you are on a downfall, stop at the high point of your career.
this band has such an American following & most of us have not a clue what any of thier words are. When Du Hast came out my daughter was 7 yrs old & she sang it like it was natural I loved hearing her & her mom hated it.
@Bisscute this is the last song from this album so it's kind of a farewell to the current Rammstein and with the new album there will probably be a kind of new opening of Rammstein's history that's usually the case with closing each album to enter the scene with something new and newer sound :)
At first some important references in the video for interpretation: References to religion are present throughout the video. The costumes that the band wears, the purification by fire, the scene where the band flies away in a whirlwind; - The scene where Till passes his head outside the truck resembles one of the scenes of "Batman: The Dark Knight". Paul has a "Joker" badge on his jacket; - The truck's plate reads "LI FAD 6", a reference to Rammstein's sixth album; - The guard passing through the window has a "Universal Music" badge. The entrance to the Opera House (Opéra Garnier Paris) also says "Universal"; - The fight scene has several "Matrix" references; - It is written "Mutter 22" next to the armored door of the chambers room. Flake's computer program looks like the artwork from the Mutter album; - The busts used on the artwork of Video 1995-2012 are visible on the screens next to the caissons; - On the gas can, a flower can be seen like on the album Herzeleid; - The scene where the band floats in the sky is a reference to the movie "The Immortals"; - The red lasers (time beam) are of course the same as the ones in the video Deutschland - Flake's (Keyboarder) notebook seems to contain his secret thoughts that no one should know, because he rips the notes out of the notebook and eats them. In one interpretation, the secret thoughts revolve around either Rammstein's music, which Flake often found too simple at the beginning of Rammstein, which is why he couldn't really identify with Rammstein at the beginning, and in the other interpretation, the announcement of the end of Rammstein, the exact date is still secret. At the beginning, the band sits heavily armed in a troop transport as a kind of special task force and drives through a city at night while Till Lindemann sticks his head out of the window - just like the Joker in the DC film "Batman: The Dark Knight". The goal seems to be a red cone of light (time beam) that shines out of an opera house into the cloudy sky. (The opera represents "Universal Music") The many Christian symbols that the viewer can discover in the car are striking in the first few seconds: a crucifix on the mirror, a Bible from which one page is torn, crosses as tattoos on the faces of the band members. A nod to the religious worship of rock stars and the great expectations of the band, which has always been very distressing for Rammstein. They celebrate the last supper - with cigarettes and liquor from a hip flask, similar to how Rammstein always does before they start a concert. The van stops, the band storms into the Opera/ Church/Cathedral which is the powerful headquarters of Universal Music, to which Rammstein is contracted, while the car's license plate clearly reads "Lifad 6" - an acronym for the sixth Rammstein album "Love is for everyone" (Album „Liebe ist für alle da"). A wild shootout begins. The band fights their way to a heavy metal door marked "Mutter-22". This is also a reference to an earlier album of the same name. In addition, the band obviously wears their style of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Till Lindemann, with black make-up and a mohawk, guitarist Richard Kruspe with jet-black hair that hangs in his face. As the band members enter the room, they find their own bodies preserved in cryochambers. They mourn briefly and set the room on fire, apparently an older version of themselves. Her appearance is strongly reminiscent of the cover of "Mother" The time around this album "Mutter" seems to have been central for the further career of the band. In several documentaries, the musicians stated that they almost broke up during this phase. The USA tour at that time was canceled - allegedly for health reasons. The main reason for the dispute was the different ideas of how one wanted to develop artistically. At that time, Till shot the video for the song "Mutter" (Mother) alone without the other band members. The band was about to break up and started doing therapy sessions together. It also fits this picture that the band in the video for "Adieu" finds itself in a cage in the form of a Rammstein logo, similar to Till Lindemann in the video "Mutter", besieged by hordes of zombie-like creatures that are apparently supposed to represent their fans - trapped in the Success. After being overwhelmed by their "fans", the band members ascend to heaven. You can see her now, except for Lindemann, without make-up, freshly styled, apparently content. In exactly the same way, they throw themselves into the abyss (hell), from which the red cone of light shines. In Hell, they free themselves from the chains and thus free themselves. They crumble to dust and break out of the cage they were held in The band addresses their career and the "turning point" after the album "Mutter", which almost led to their separation from Rammstein. In the video, this change is probably symbolized by the fact that the "new" version of Rammstein, who storms into the opera, had to kill the old one, because otherwise she would have perished herself. The band members are preserved in the "Mother" room and their current versions march in and torch their clones with a petrol can. Are they not saying goodbye to the band, to themselves, as many believe, but to the idea of disbanding? It's an interpretation that also fits with a statement by guitarist Paul Landers: When meeting a fan before one of the concerts on the European tour, he stated that "Adieu" was not a farewell because all members still had a lot of fun with Rammstein. Rammstein never thought about quitting. The songs on the new album „Zeit" are based on experiences and losses that the band members had to go through. Now that they have reinvented themselves and have all the freedom, they are able to face the pressure and expectations and break out of the "cage" on their own. The footage of the video, in which the band members are shot dead on the ground, shows Rammstein what would have happened if they hadn't managed to reinvent themselves. If the musicians hadn't managed to get into the room marked "Mother" and self-destruct there, they would be dead by now. So if they hadn't settled their disagreements at the time, Rammstein would have been long gone. Rammstein has overcome the times when there were many thoughts of quitting. The other interpretation, which seems also very obvious: The video actually announces the approaching end of Rammstein. The Rammstein members break free from themselves in a painful process and die as seen in the end credits of the video and are released from all the star hype and expectations and can start a new life.
The start of the video really gave me Dark Knight vibes, like the Joker’s goons are getting ready to cause chaos. It’s always an experience with Rammstein. As others have said, they don’t seem to be quitting yet. But they have been doing this for about 25 years, and they may slow down eventually.
I have seen many review/reaction videos to this song but this is the only time I have seen the first time viewing reaction of someone who does not have German as their primary language 'get' the lyrics as they are sung. Well done Bisscute!
Aw, I love your reaction! Rammstein wird weiter auf Tour gehen und uns noch lange erhalten bleiben. Das ist deren Bestimmung. Dagegen können sie sich nicht wehren. In speranta....
don't worry ....they are professionals and know how the business works Your Rammstein journey is not over . So you will have time for more reactions in 2023...I am already looking forward to it
This video is incredible, as good as anything being played in theaters. Amazingly passionate reaction to its implications, which I have to agree are troubling, especially the ending sequence. A band this strong should have no problem carrying on, so, glad to see people are revealing it’s not their end.
Great Reaction.👋🤘❤❤ Greetings from Germany. Don't worry, Rammstein won't stop. The educatedmarine channel has videos with English subtitles. Lindemann - Steh auf (Official Video) Lindemann - Home Sweet Home (Live in Moscow) the song is in English.
FunFact: Adieu is used here as the French goodbye. However, there are also areas in Germany, e.g. on the French border or in areas formerly occupied by the French, where it is used instead of the German Goodbye. It is also used in the short form Ade. Rammstein has already taken 10 years between two albums. They are now in their late 50s and the question arises as to how much longer they want to do this.
To be true, this would be the perfect "Goodbye Song" - It would hit even harder, than it did already. Thank god it´s not and we can expect more Masterpieces from Rammstein.
NUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!! i hope its not the end. i started listening to them after you introduced them to me and they are amazing. Lovely reaction and sad at the same time. I hope its not the end but feels like it is. Great job Bisscute, always putting the greatest content ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Paul from Rammstein confirmed that this song is only about death and loosing a person. Its not the end of rammstein. And there are a lot more rammstein songs you can react to. Looking foreward to it 😄 really love your rammstein reactions. Btw till lindemann also has a solo project with peter tätgren. They have to albums. Also really worth checking out
You are one of the only ones who understand german and "cry" because you know what they said. I don't like reactions of people who don't search info about; the sound is always good but Rammstein's songs always have a meaning
Ich find dein Reaction-Video einfach klasse - vor allem, dass du das "ganz allein" bei 8:49 rausgehört und kommentiert hast - da musste ich sogar nochmal als Muttersprachler genau hin hören - sehr gut 👍🏻
I listen to them on their last concert last wednesday (March 31th) and this was their last song. A lot of the crowd have tears in their eyes and Paul & Richard have also cred a bit. Maybe this was the end but I hope not. They will do a break for at least two years and will then decide for the future. Their last tour were in 135 stadiums and every location was sold out. In my opinion it stand 50/50 to see them again. Take a look on some Concert videos from their latest show ... search for "Rammstein 31.07. Gelsenkirchen". It was over the top ... once again.
Just see - they are getting rid of their past and have to go forward, although it is hard for them, too. There will be no comeback to Mutter album, but there will be many new fantastic creations. And even if they eventually end their career, only thing we should think about is how happy we were to live in times of Rammstein ❤ Don't worry and have a lovely day 😊
@@BisscuteReacts completely agree , this song live by the way hits really hard . They play it as the last song in their current tour and Till got so emotional at the end (at least at the shows i went to , Hamburg and Berlin)
When Rammstein retires, it's the perfect farewell song and music video. So many callbacks in the video to other rammstein videos like Mutter (Cage/Writing), Ich will (Robbery), Deutschland (Red timeline and Collapse), Sonne (all members in black coal dust), Seemann and Zeit (boat rowing, 8:30 and endcredits), Links 2 3 4 (the chanting from the fans), Halleluja and Rosenrot (the cross) and others. The fact is that the whole album feels like a farewell and this song here is also the last track of this album. Then there is the fact that they are all not the youngest anymore (Till is almost 60) and that it only takes one of the members to get out and the whole band will go with him.
Well they are getting older but Till still has a powerful voice and the other guys are bit younger than him, so I think they still have more to give (they have probably never been as good as now). But at the same time maybe one of them doesn't want to do it anymore so they all have to quit.
Zeit album first song is Armee de tristen, outro is Adieu, its like a story line. They just keep rocking as much as they can, 2023 tour incoming. Till will say it if its the end or not :) don't worry
the song is has been helping them to say goodbye to some friends they lost. when they where writing the album mutter, they came close to break up, but adieu is more about a new beguinning, even if they are burning it all down, and i was also crying 🤣
Adieu (also ade, ada, adjö, adje, ädi, adet and similar) is a farewell greeting used in France and Switzerland as well as in some regions of southern Germany and Austria. Tschüs also has its etymological origin in adieu.
on tour this was the last song they played, when it came on i was like, NOOOOOO DONT END NOW. live shows are the best. its not a good bye it was just a song thankfully. long time fan since 1998.
When I first read the translated lyrics for this song my heart sank. I felt like the times are changing and everything I love is slowly dying. But relax, it's not Rammstein saying goodbye haha. I simply misinterpreted.
The most impressive part is that they filmed part of the video at the Paris Opera house, France's main/biggest/fanciest opera. Getting permission means they told the decision-makers in paris what they planned on filming. And france said yes.
Actually, we said "oui", but we French are big Rammstein fans (and Rammstein is a big fan of France too). We'd let them burn the Eiffel Tower if they asked for it.
Awww ur pouting adorable... I'm from Puerto Rico and I don't know a lick of German but the mini movie and the song has gotten my attention... great reaction
FWIW, the word "Adieu" exists in French and English, but has the sense of a final goodbye, which is distinct from "au revoir", "see you later" or "auf wiedersehen" (where there's an implication of expected future meetings). So, as others have mentioned, it fits the theme of death, because of its finality.
Even though I would be sad as hell... IF Rammstein were to leave the arena with this song as their goodbye it would be one of the most epic songs ever to tell everybody that yepp we're done. I'm so glad that it's just a adieu from the album and tour. I sang my throat out during this song when I saw them live.
9:49 "Mutter-22" you have right. It is a date/years coded there. Mutter was their 3th album released in 04.2001, and Zeit is the last album released in 04.2022. So the code means 21st anniversary of their music activity. If so, then it probably means that goodbye is directed to us, the fans.

The theory is this: At the time of Mutter (yes, the room that their "originals", looking exactly like at the time of that album), they were in a deep crisis. They had to come together anew in order to survive. With that video, they make peace with that "state" of the band back in the days. That's why there are quotes from pretty much every video from the Mutter album (the lobby entering of "Ich will", that the sun will burn up - relating to "Sonne", the fire shot with Til in the center of "Mein Herz brennt", and the container scene known from the song "Mutter" and them opening fire at the guards, quoting "Feuer frei!"). And just by the way, the last song on Mutter was called "Adios". The problem of that time seemed to be that fans were pulling them into directions that they didn't want to follow - resembled by the zombies pulling from all sides. But in the end, Rammstein can defeat them by destroying the iconic monuments that were built for them in the first place. And the credit scene shows what would have happened if they had failed: they would have died. Quite honetly, knowing this makes the whole video a lot more pathetic and cheesy - yet at the same time clever and revealing. By now they have become such professionals in moving in front of a camera (except Oliver, haha), it's just a joy watching them. Oh, and no, according to many members, this is not the end of the band or further releases. They're just saying "Thank goodness we got things sorted out after making "Mutter" because shit seriously hit the fan!" But that's the video... The songs itself really is an ode to goodbye. (and then again, the name of the current album is "Zeit" -> Time. So, maybe a trip back in time is also part of it. How cute ;-))
I was more nervous about this song than their other song "Adios" just cuz of some of the other songs' content but was optimistic that it didn't mean the end. "Adios" came out on "Mutter" and they have released so many good songs since then.
Don`t worry Dear... Rammstein doesn`t quitting. Very simply described, the song refers to the fact that everything is ephemeral and that we will meet again somewhere. Especially like in this video where it's about death but you're going to die together.
I saw a youtube video that analyzed this video conclusively. Accordingly, this video deals with a difficult time in the history of the band from the time after the release of the album "Mutter", which is said to have almost led to a breakup of the band. There are many signs that point to a time before and after "Mutter". It sounded logical and there was no indication of the end of the band. However, it was also pointed out that other interpretations would be possible. I hope google translated reasonably well. Greetings from Germany
I found your channel while searching for Rammstein reactions so I'm always excited to see u react to them. The production in these videos are always the best. The song itself is awesome. Just like everyone else is saying, I'm sure this is not the end for them. Love the reaction as always Biss❤️🤘
The word adieu is really French for goodby or farewell Like saying ladies and gentlemen I bid you a found adieu. It was adopted into English in the 1300s.It's not the end for Rammstein there just taking a break. Next year Rammstein will be going on a big European tour, including seven dates in Germany which I've heard maybe all sold out already! In 2024 the band should also have some surprises for their fans. Then they will be celebrating there 30th anniversary!
Here are the Easter eggs: - the vault is mutter22 when the band had some issues and considered potentially quitting (even though Paul landers said they never considered it) - the license plate on the van is LIFAD6: the sixth album on liebe ist fur der alle is fruhlong in Paris. The building where the video is shot is in Paris. - the matrix reference with shooting the guard and metal detector is because du hast was on the first matrix film soundtrack introducing the band to wider non German audiences - Richard has focus on him as he lights a cigarette and he is the one that sets the clones on fire. This is because he is the founder of the band and he is the one who gets to destroy the band - flick is the one who is using the laptops keyboard because he is the bands keyboardist - in the opening of the song as the drums kick in you see the bands drummer shooting guns to the beat of the drums - the zombie fans pull on chains and make a caged band perform whenever they please. The band decides to pull on the chains bringing the whole thing down and forever killing the band. However you see that they never made it inside the vault. This is the contradiction to the chorus. As much as they want to kill their own creation it has transcended them and cannot be killed. They might all be dead but the clones (suggesting their music library) will live on beyond them
Thank you for watching the video, It means a lot to me .
I will leave this pinned message here to REMIND everyone that i do not have TELEGRAM and there is no GIVEAWAY. Those you see are bot scams . Keep yourself safe and know that I would not ask for your info. ❤ ❤
thank you for posting this, so many channels have the scams in their comments and dont deal with it
"Rammstein never thought about quitting. The songs on the new album are based on experiences and losses that band members have had. It is not a song that hints at the end of Rammstein. All band members still have a lot of fun with Rammstein" - Paul Landers. From "Taketonews".
in any case this song will surely be perfect to say goodbye to us
It's not official, it's a fan who say that Paul tell it to him
@@necromancy2263 yeah, but still some sort of an agreement about that it is not an end of this band is there.
Or just to ask him by myself and record it if I will get an his permission.
they thought quite some time to leave the era behind due to corona - now the song has two messages - maybe leaving the past behind and starting new or quitting the chapter rammstein
I cried to this song when I saw them in LA this year, they're truly out of this world
Omfg I am so relieved! I was so worried they would retire and I am a huge fanñ
Ahh i see, thanks for that info. Was worried for a second there ❤
I saw them in Philly this year, and this song was so powerful an ending it was amazing
That was the most adorable reaction I have seen in a while. You have this cute way of expressing your worry that Rammstein will end. What worries me more is Lindemann on his solo stuff not continuing. He is the person I adore and has enriched my life the most. Cheers.
So sweet, thanks ❤
Haha she so cute when she sad like puppy. She went through shocked, sadness, grief, denial then acceptance under 15 mins. 😆
For me, is this the sweetest " first reaction" ever.
The sweetest reaction to rammstein that I have heard so far! :D
Thats so sweet ty
Girl, this may be my favorite reaction to any song by any reactor, ever.
Love the passion, thank you.
Only death lasts forever
It whispers under the pine branch
Must draw everything into its darkness
Even the sun will burn out
[Pre-Chorus]
But don't worry, we are with you
One last time, so we sing
[Chorus]
Adieu, goodbye, see you again!
You have to go the last way alone
One last song, one last kiss
No miracle will happen
Adieu, goodbye, see you again!
I had a nice time with you
[Verse 2]
You quietly rise from life
The soul goes on a quiet journey
Flesh perishes, spirit will rise
The being will surrender to death (Yes)
[Pre-Chorus]
In the end, you are all alone
But we will be with you
[Chorus]
Adieu, goodbye, see you again!
You have to go the last way alone
One last song, one last kiss
No miracle will happen
Adieu, goodbye, see you again!
I had a nice time with you
[Bridge]
Everyone dies alone (All alone)
But you will always be with us
[Chorus]
Adieu, goodbye, see you again!
You have to go the last way alone
One last song, one last kiss
No miracle will happen
Adieu, goodbye, see you again!
I had a nice time with you
For those who want to read the translation along with the video
Aweeee thank you so much ❤
I want this played at my funeral ... in hopefully many many years.
It just felt like a farewell song, hearing it for the first time ❤
If this song isn’t played at my funeral, I’m not going.
@@Backoffboogaloo 🤣
@@Backoffboogaloo I wont be at my funeral... just Ash ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Same here, more perfect, i speak 3 languages: French (Adieu), Englisch (Goodbye) and German (Auf wiedersehen) while my englisch is far from perfect that song just is it :3
One of the sweetest reactions I've ever seen - every emotion was so genuine! Thx.
If they quit, I'll be sad, at the same time if this was their last song, I would be satisfied. Because this would be the way they would want to go out. A proper send off song.
Don’t worry this is not the end !! Paul said it in an interview that they still got fun with Rammstein and this album is just about time and experiences from the members so even if this song may be like a goodbye song, it’s not :)
And to me this song is following the mutter clip when they go and kill all of their clones, the cage they’re in seems to be the same as the one in Mutter clip, even it can be interpreted as they’re killing their « old self » because now Rammstein’s music is not exactly the same as the beginning so some people are saying that they’ve changed too much, so to me this clip is not like the end of something but the beginning of a new Rammstein kind which is even better than before !! But as always Rammstein’s song have so much different interpretations so you can make your own !
Greetings from France
I see, thanks for that info. Im glad it isnt the end, had me worried ❤
As much as I like their older stuff, unlike most bands, they just keep getting better and better! Extremely rare.
Benny from ABBA said it best. He said most artists start to fade after 8 years.
When you think about a lotta great artists, seems to be mostly true.
I had the same exact reaction when I first heard this song! I was so happy to hear it wasn’t their goodbye song.
it is not their last one, but if it would be...
what a way to go away as with such a masterpiece....just perfect
"Rammstein never thought about ending it. The Songs on our new Album base on experiences of loss, the Bandmembers had to experience." -Paul Landers (Guitarist of Rammstein) ;) Even in case of a Zombie Apocalypse, they would keep on.
I see, thanks ❤
I wanted to say hi.
Every now and then you slip into my feed.
I just saw your first Rammstein reaction video and learned that you live in Germany.
Then I saw your reaction video to Angst and learned that you are from Romania.
Glad you are with us. You are a star in the future of this country. Stay as you are and keep up the good work.
20 years ago they made a song called “adios” and they are still here, so let’s see 😊
Fingers crossed its not the end ❤
this is by far the best reaction ever to any song ... watched it about 600 times but you still make me cry
Been listening to this band since 96’. They were my favourite band then and they still are today.
Don't be afraid, you're Rammstein-Journey will not end. Believe me, they don't say goodbye to us. Thank you for your reactions. We see you 2023 with a lot of new Rammstein-Reactions. Greetings from Germany.
I hope so I love em
Hahaha, i love you refusing rammstein final, you made me laugh bisscute. Always a fresh view of things. Thanks for another great video.
My pleasure, thanks. Im glad you liked the reaction, and yes i refuse to see them end haha ❤
Still my favorite band, ever since I saw them in the Korn family values tour in 98
It was the closer to the "Zeit" album, which makes "Die Zeit mit dir war schön" (the time with you was beautiful) even better of a line.
Thanks for that info ❤
It's just a song. Relax. I don't think they are going anywhere. Some people say it's about their transition as a band from "old" Rammstein to "new" Rammstein.
Also I think the video is about them going back in time to kill themselves so their future selves aren't enslaved.
i have been listening to rammstein since 1998 and i have only pain and tears from this song. thanks for everything rammstein ukraine remembers everything and knows everything that you have done for us, we will always listen to you.
They are great and have made a lot of great songs, will be sad to see them go ❤
Love them and the theatrical element in their live shows.
Whoa I didn't pick up on that Biss. They have been performing for decades at this point but it would suck if they are.
They are amazing, will be sad if they ended now ❤
It probably indeed is their last album. They announced it at the location in Berlin, where they played they ever first concert. So it makes sense to close the cycle. Personally i think it is a good decision. Never stop when you are on a downfall, stop at the high point of your career.
Possibly, will be sad to see them go but this song would be a beautiful ending to it ❤
this band has such an American following & most of us have not a clue what any of thier words are. When Du Hast came out my daughter was 7 yrs old & she sang it like it was natural I loved hearing her & her mom hated it.
@Bisscute
this is the last song from this album so it's kind of a farewell to the current Rammstein and with the new album there will probably be a kind of new opening of Rammstein's history that's usually the case with closing each album to enter the scene with something new and newer sound :)
At first some important references in the video for interpretation:
References to religion are present throughout the video. The costumes that the band wears, the purification by fire, the scene where the band flies away in a whirlwind;
- The scene where Till passes his head outside the truck resembles one of the scenes of "Batman: The Dark Knight". Paul has a "Joker" badge on his jacket;
- The truck's plate reads "LI FAD 6", a reference to Rammstein's sixth album;
- The guard passing through the window has a
"Universal Music" badge. The entrance to the Opera House (Opéra Garnier Paris) also says "Universal";
- The fight scene has several "Matrix" references;
- It is written "Mutter 22" next to the armored door of the chambers room. Flake's computer program looks like the artwork from the Mutter album;
- The busts used on the artwork of Video 1995-2012 are visible on the screens next to the caissons;
- On the gas can, a flower can be seen like on the album Herzeleid;
- The scene where the band floats in the sky is a reference to the movie "The Immortals";
- The red lasers (time beam) are of course the same as the ones in the video Deutschland
- Flake's (Keyboarder) notebook seems to contain his secret thoughts that no one should know, because he rips the notes out of the notebook and eats them.
(The opera represents "Universal Music") The
many Christian symbols that the viewer can discover in the car are striking in the first few seconds: a crucifix on the mirror, a Bible from which one page is torn, crosses as tattoos on the faces of the band members.
Till Lindemann, with
black make-up and a mohawk, guitarist Richard Kruspe with jet-black hair that hangs in his face.
As the band members enter the room, they find their own bodies preserved in cryochambers. They mourn briefly and set the room on fire, apparently an older version of themselves. Her appearance is strongly reminiscent of the cover of "Mother"
The time around this album "Mutter" seems to have been central for the further career of the band.
It also fits this picture that the band in the video for
"Adieu" finds itself in a cage in the form of a
Rammstein logo, similar to Till Lindemann in the video "Mutter", besieged by hordes of zombie-like creatures that are apparently supposed to represent their fans - trapped in the Success.
They crumble to dust and break out of the cage they were held in
The band addresses their career and the "turning point" after the album "Mutter", which almost led to their separation from Rammstein. In the video, this change is probably symbolized by the fact that the
"new" version of Rammstein, who storms into the opera, had to kill the old one, because otherwise she would have perished herself.
The band members are preserved in the "Mother" room and their current versions march in and torch their clones with a petrol can. Are they not saying goodbye to the band, to themselves, as many believe, but to the idea of disbanding? It's an interpretation that also fits with a statement by guitarist Paul Landers:
When meeting a fan before one of the concerts on the European tour, he stated that "Adieu" was not a farewell because all members still had a lot of fun with Rammstein.
If the
musicians hadn't managed to get into the room marked "Mother" and self-destruct there, they would be dead by now.
Yeah feels like an end is near but hopefully this isnt it ❤
I have seen many review/reaction videos to this song but this is the only time I have seen the first time viewing reaction of someone who does not have German as their primary language 'get' the lyrics as they are sung.
Well done Bisscute!
cute reaction - thx for sharing the emotion, good one, your not alone
Thank you, glad you liked the reaction ❤
Aw, I love your reaction! Rammstein wird weiter auf Tour gehen und uns noch lange erhalten bleiben. Das ist deren Bestimmung. Dagegen können sie sich nicht wehren. In speranta....
Not on my music playlist, but I do love their music videos, and they seem to up the game every album. I'd like to see a full feature film from them.
They are amazing ❤
don't worry ....they are professionals and know how the business works
Your Rammstein journey is not over . So you will have time for more reactions in 2023...I am already looking forward to it
I hope so, I love their music ❤
This video is incredible, as good as anything being played in theaters. Amazingly passionate reaction to its implications, which I have to agree are troubling, especially the ending sequence. A band this strong should have no problem carrying on, so, glad to see people are revealing it’s not their end.
I am so hoping its not the end
@@BisscuteReacts C'mon it's just a song!
Great Reaction.👋🤘❤❤
Greetings from Germany.
Don't worry, Rammstein won't stop.
The educatedmarine channel has videos with English subtitles.
Lindemann - Steh auf (Official Video)
Lindemann - Home Sweet Home (Live in Moscow) the song is in English.
Thank you, glad you liked it ❤
They have the Tour for 2023 scheduled. So there still is Rammstein to enjoy!
Im glad, i was worried when i was reacting to this ❤
FunFact: Adieu is used here as the French goodbye.
Crazy, will be sad to see them go ❤
Paul and other members have confirmed this isn't the end
To be true, this would be the perfect "Goodbye Song" - It would hit even harder, than it did already.
Thank god it´s not and we can expect more Masterpieces from Rammstein.
This a really great goodbye song but its not the goodbye of rammstein for sure
Right? its a great goodbye song and im glad its not from what people told me ❤
NUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!! i hope its not the end. i started listening to them after you introduced them to me and they are amazing. Lovely reaction and sad at the same time. I hope its not the end but feels like it is. Great job Bisscute, always putting the greatest content ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Several members confirmed that this isn't the end, the album is about time and personal experiences of the band members, they still have fun together
Also really worth checking out
Oh wow, im glad its not the end. I wanna experience more Rammstein haha ❤
It was over the top ... once again.
Rammstein being Rammstein amazing song!!!! amazing react thank you
Right? i love the song. Thank you, glad you liked the reaction❤
Adieu is french for a last goodbye. Like the last time you see a person in your life.
I see, thanks ❤
It is their goodbye song... for the album Zeit and maybe on their concerts but Rammstein will still continuing making music.
Oh i see, i hope its just that and nothing more ❤
Just see - they are getting rid of their past and have to go forward, although it is hard for them, too. There will be no comeback to Mutter album, but there will be many new fantastic creations.
And even if they eventually end their career, only thing we should think about is how happy we were to live in times of Rammstein ❤
Don't worry and have a lovely day 😊
Exactly, i am beyond excited for what the future brings.
Right? even with how sad it will be if they end. They left us many great songs to still admire ❤
@@BisscuteReacts completely agree , this song live by the way hits really hard . They play it as the last song in their current tour and Till got so emotional at the end (at least at the shows i went to , Hamburg and Berlin)
For a moment i panic too, but when you listen the song i knew what kind of goodbye this was
Let s hope they will release new songs soon
I catched on some of those as well Thats why I said It sounds like a Goodbye
Well they are getting older but Till still has a powerful voice and the other guys are bit younger than him, so I think they still have more to give (they have probably never been as good as now). But at the same time maybe one of them doesn't want to do it anymore so they all have to quit.
Zeit album first song is Armee de tristen, outro is Adieu, its like a story line. They just keep rocking as much as they can, 2023 tour incoming. Till will say it if its the end or not :) don't worry
its not goodbye to you ... we will always love you and Rammstein
the song is has been helping them to say goodbye to some friends they lost. when they where writing the album mutter, they came close to break up, but adieu is more about a new beguinning, even if they are burning it all down, and i was also crying 🤣
I heard Till wrote Adieu and Zeit in memory of a good friend of his who has died a few years ago
Oh? it is a beautiful song ❤
Adieu (also ade, ada, adjö, adje, ädi, adet and similar) is a farewell greeting used in France and Switzerland as well as in some regions of southern Germany and Austria. Tschüs also has its etymological origin in adieu.
Ty ❤
your reaction on this one realy wants me to give you a hug
on tour this was the last song they played, when it came on i was like, NOOOOOO DONT END NOW. live shows are the best. its not a good bye it was just a song thankfully. long time fan since 1998.
i can see that, i would have reacted the same way hahaha. hopefully its not the end ❤

So adorable. Love from Germany.
Deine Rammstein Reise geht weiter. 😅
Thank you for your video! This was so emotional and honest! But trust me, they will not quit! I hope ;-)
When I first read the translated lyrics for this song my heart sank. I felt like the times are changing and everything I love is slowly dying.
But relax, it's not Rammstein saying goodbye haha. I simply misinterpreted.
Yeah i was sad at first but people told me its not the end ❤
I just started listening to them 04/23...and I was also like NOOO
Awesome reaction to this masterpiece, thank you 🙏
Thank you so much, glad you liked it ❤
their production is just perfect
The most impressive part is that they filmed part of the video at the Paris Opera house, France's main/biggest/fanciest opera.
Getting permission means they told the decision-makers in paris what they planned on filming.
And france said yes.
Crazy, amazing ❤
I mean what could they do? Say "no" to them? Lol
@@FelipeCRC Exactly that. You don't have a right to film some place. If you don't get permits, move along
@@Happymali10 i know, i was just joking hahaha
Actually, we said "oui", but we French are big Rammstein fans (and Rammstein is a big fan of France too). We'd let them burn the Eiffel Tower if they asked for it.
I've been a fan of Rammstein for 18 years and I wept watching their video.
Amazing, they are great ❤
Hi from Germany, this video is Epic and it will not be the last song, you did a fantastic reaction !!!!!
Thank you so much, im glad its not the end. ❤
I went to see them in San Antonio this year and they close the show with this song
I wept by the end.
I would have cried too haha ❤
Awww ur pouting adorable... I'm from Puerto Rico and I don't know a lick of German but the mini movie and the song has gotten my attention... great reaction
Thank you so much, glad you liked it ❤
thank you for your reaction. you are so sensitive. Thank you that you are❤
My pleasure, glad you liked this reaction❤
I love this song. It is a Danish/Viking war hymn, very German. Knives out. To Valhalla!!!!
Love your reactions:) It is AMAZING....
music 100%, video 200%, live concert 1000%
Your face when you realized the meaning of the lyrics were beautiful and full of emotions. But I feel you. Do much creativity
I was trying not to cry but I felt so sad you can t imagine
Das hat man beobachten können. Du bist sehr nett. Gruß aus Los Angeles. But I’m from Aachen in Germany. Happy you love them as much as I do.
Right? it would have been an amazing exit. but im glad its not the end of it from what i was told. They are an amazing band ❤
your sayng good byewas just fantastic
9:49 "Mutter-22" you have right. It is a date/years coded there. Mutter was their 3th album released in 04.2001, and Zeit is the last album released in 04.2022.
So the code means 21st anniversary of their music activity.
If so, then it probably means that goodbye is directed to us, the fans.
I listened to this song yesterday and was blown away glad you reacted to it biss its an amazing song and thanx for the awasome reaction

As the band members enter the room, they find their own bodies preserved in cryochambers. They mourn briefly and set the room on fire, apparently an older version of themselves. Her appearance is strongly reminiscent of the cover of "Mother".
The time around this album "Mutter" seems to have been central for the further career of the band. In several documentaries, the musicians stated that they almost broke up during this phase. The USA tour at that time was canceled - allegedly for health reasons. The main reason for the dispute was the different ideas of how one wanted to develop artistically. At that time, Till shot the video for the song Mother alone without the other band members. The band was about to break up and started doing therapy sessions together.
It also fits this picture that the band in the video for "Adieu" finds itself in a cage in the form of a Rammstein logo, similar to Till Lindemann in the video “Mutter”, besieged by hordes of zombie-like creatures that are apparently supposed to represent their fans - trapped in the Success.
They crumble to dust and break out of the cage they were held in
The band addresses their career and the "turning point" after the album "Mutter", which almost led to their separation from Rammstein. In the video, this change is probably symbolized by the fact that the "new" version of Rammstein, who storms into the opera, had to kill her old one, because otherwise she would have perished herself.
Rammstein never thought about quitting. The songs on the new album „Zeit“ are based on experiences and losses that the band members had to go through.
Thanks for that ❤
je serai fan de rammstein jusqu'à la mort je les suis depuis 20ans et je continuerai jusqu'à la fin 🖤🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🖤
The theory is this:
At the time of Mutter (yes, the room that their "originals", looking exactly like at the time of that album), they were in a deep crisis.
They're just saying "Thank goodness we got things sorted out after making "Mutter" because shit seriously hit the fan!"
But that's the video... The songs itself really is an ode to goodbye.
(and then again, the name of the current album is "Zeit" -> Time. So, maybe a trip back in time is also part of it. How cute ;-))
Thanks for the theory ❤
they cant stop as they have some fans like you
I was more nervous about this song than their other song "Adios" just cuz of some of the other songs' content but was optimistic that it didn't mean the end. "Adios" came out on "Mutter" and they have released so many good songs since then.
Don`t worry Dear... Rammstein doesn`t quitting.
Very simply described, the song refers to the fact that everything is ephemeral and that we will meet again somewhere.
Especially like in this video where it's about death but you're going to die together.
well.. maybe the end for till
Rammstein is allways in us !!! love it !!
They are amazing, lets hope this isnt the end ❤
I saw a youtube video that analyzed this video conclusively. Accordingly, this video deals with a difficult time in the history of the band from the time after the release of the album "Mutter", which is said to have almost led to a breakup of the band. There are many signs that point to a time before and after "Mutter". It sounded logical and there was no indication of the end of the band. However, it was also pointed out that other interpretations would be possible.
I hope google translated reasonably well. Greetings from Germany
The opponents at the beginning seem to be inspired by the "Helghast". The enemies you fight in the videogame series "Killzone".
Rammstein is a never ending Story 😉😉😉
The goodbye probably refers more to their past. You have to break with the old in order to be able to develop further.
I found your channel while searching for Rammstein reactions so I'm always excited to see u react to them. The production in these videos are always the best. The song itself is awesome. Just like everyone else is saying, I'm sure this is not the end for them. Love the reaction as always Biss❤️🤘
Thank you so much, glad you are loving it. their music and videos are always amazing ❤
Oh? Tour? sounds exciting. maybe ill get a chance to see them ❤
Here are the Easter eggs:
- the vault is mutter22 when the band had some issues and considered potentially quitting (even though Paul landers said they never considered it)
- the license plate on the van is LIFAD6: the sixth album on liebe ist fur der alle is fruhlong in Paris. The building where the video is shot is in Paris.
- the matrix reference with shooting the guard and metal detector is because du hast was on the first matrix film soundtrack introducing the band to wider non German audiences
- Richard has focus on him as he lights a cigarette and he is the one that sets the clones on fire. This is because he is the founder of the band and he is the one who gets to destroy the band
- flick is the one who is using the laptops keyboard because he is the bands keyboardist
- in the opening of the song as the drums kick in you see the bands drummer shooting guns to the beat of the drums
- the zombie fans pull on chains and make a caged band perform whenever they please. The band decides to pull on the chains bringing the whole thing down and forever killing the band. However you see that they never made it inside the vault. This is the contradiction to the chorus. As much as they want to kill their own creation it has transcended them and cannot be killed. They might all be dead but the clones (suggesting their music library) will live on beyond them
Thank you for the info ❤
