Elevator Didn't Start Because of Innerdoor...EPIC FAIL!

Went here again to do a better take of this nice old Portuguese elevator on a different date, but failed. Just when I pressed the 3rd floor button, the inner door didn't fully close which prevented the car from moving! I almost got stuck! Luckily I managed to force open the door and it opened thanks to the door sensors, so I went out safely. If it had not opened, I would've got completely stuck inside! This elevator initially didn't have an inner door at all btw.
A lady who rode this elevator before me also had gotten "stuck" and then went up the stair instead. She told me (in Portuguese) that "the elevator broke" but I couldn't understand her so I went in anyway

strange how the innor door didnt close properly the elevator should have realized the door wasent closing and reopen the door
