I have a question regarding company project - how to speak about current project if it is not related to purely Java or any development domain?
If you are applying to java based roles ,They will expect java related project . If you don't have java experience.Do yt or udemy,etc courses and practice a lot .Then connect with some java dev in your company and understand his project .Use that in your interviews ,be ready for cross questions

I have around 1.5 yrs of FTE, but I see a lot of openings for the people with 2+ yrs of experience, so can cold emailing help me with getting interview rounds?
I personally didn't get opportunities with higher experience .But ,for sde-1 and software engineer-1 role .You will find multiple opportunities with 1-3 yrs experience
