- took a lil trip to the goodwill outlet bins in NYC and thought i'd take you along and share with you what i got! definitely quite the trip and i'd say it was pretty successful, got some fall pieces i'll be happy to wear once it's a bit colder which is nice! thanks for tuning in, catch u later :-) // OPEN 4 MORE

wow my experience at the goodwill bins in new jersey is SO different. 99c a pound, they only bring out new bins every few hours, i find some of the best things there (def not slim pickings), and everyone is super chill and nice. keep that in mind if u live somewhere less populated the bins are not as scary as nyc lol!
I wonder if it has anything to do with “clientele” as well. I can see people being treated poorly in a place like that in NY for “not being able to afford even at normal thrift stores” types.
definitely! i’ve gone other states and it was quite chill but this one is a whole other animal lol
I've been meaning to go to one that opened a year ago! It's much closer than the thrift store I normally go to.

Yeah my local bins are definitely hit and miss the people are a little ravenous but I kind of like the rush LOL

I recently thrifted some cow boy boots too and I absolutely adore them
oh man, spending $15 at the thrift for 1 piece is definitely painful but i can imagine having that piece for a long time since it's pretty neutral!
with that red double zipper shirt, you could wear some tighter black flare pants and pair em with the shoes you wore in the beginning

obsessed with the boots! down here in the south you just go and come at the bins when you want to. they don’t hold people back at all LOL. there’s no time limit or anything! interesting how they operate in other cities!
I hate people that can’t be nice to customers like if you acting like a Karen don’t work there and take it out on others .respect ya goddamn I’m sorry I work and always make sure my customers feel welcomed it’s not that hard to be nice

The closest goodwill bins to me are 2 hours away :(( maybe one day if I’m on vacation I will come across one

The thing about the goodwill bins is that its only as good as your eye and overall, I’ve found some of my best finds there. (I’m talking the one in NYC….I go there too often….)
