- The Duke of Sussex is to be honoured for his service and using his platform to “change the world” at this year’s ESPY awards in the US.
Harry is to receive the Pat Tillman Award for Service, awarded by sports channel ESPN to individuals in the sporting world who have made significant contributions to the lives of others.
Royal expert Kinsey Schofield joins Talk’s Kevin O’Sullivan to discuss this further.

Decorated UK war hero Trevor Coult MC was one of the men assigned to protect Harry in his Bunker when other men left the base to engage the enemy. Trevor made a stolen valor video in response to Spare. The Sussexes used false racism charges to deplatform him. He had to remove every video that criticized the sussexes to get his channel back. More than a year later, he's still demonetized.

I do adaptive sports and follow Invictus closely. The Sussexes use legal loopholes and extravagant demands to drain the budget. Donations paid for Harry's transatlantic private jet trips to the UK for court appearances , Sussex employees whose only job is to scatter among the crowd and clap, cheer, and start standing ovations for them; 5 star hotels, even splurging to have the entire Presidential Suite custom painted for their stay in Germany; Meghan binge buying up to 300,000 in designer fashion for her one-week wardrobe. While large events are expected to provide financial assistance, even Invictus Germany's 40million budget had no money left to help athletes. The expenditures above and additional invictus news provided by Invictus employees to Lady Colin Campbell. The Sussexes have neither issued a denial nor threatened to sue.

It is simply not possible that there are not hundreds, thousands, of people in the US more deserving of this award. If they are desperate to give the award to someone associated with the royal family, it could go to any member of the royal household who actually did the work to set up the Invictus Games, because Hazbeen certainly didn't do it. Or even to Prince William, who contributed approx. £1 million of funding to Invictus. Hazbeen didn't do that either.
If ESPN go ahead with this debacle, Mrs Tillman should insist on withdrawing her son's name from the award.
