In my opinion a man of Melly's small stature is unlikely to do well in a prison environment. However, he thought he was very smart in staging the murders. Unfortunately cell phone technology, forensic science and the excellent testimony will convict him. I also think a jury will decide on the death penalty, and rightly so for such cold-blooded murders.

People need to understand that your cell phone is the new DNA evidence. Every text, photo, call, your location and movements will be used as evidence against you if you are accused of a crime. Keeping that cell phone is going to put Melly away in prison. He should have gotten rid of it with the gun.

Everytime you connect to a phone cell, or to the internet that data is stored with your phone providers or ISP. Ditching the phone after the crime would not have helped.

I haven’t been able to watch this case like I did with another for 3 weeks because this one annoys me the way he acts in court and his unprofessional attorneys. The bickering between the defense and the prosecution has annoyed me to lol. So I watch the tiny clips people post.
