    My goal: incorporate oil rinses in my wash day routine!!!
    My last wash day I realized that i probably should start apply more oil to the length of my hair instead of just the scalp and then not too long after you posted this video. So this was definitely confirmation for that. Thank you!

  • @dmariebouie
    @dmariebouie Год назад +9

    Goal: I'm in the TWA stage w/ low porosity and what works is washing 2x week, deep condition weekly, and DIY scalp treatment 2x week. I also saw my hair stays softer if I wrap silk scarf at night under a satin bonnet. In the morning, I spritz aloe vera/water, a tiny bit of leave-in and curls come to life. This channel really helped me nail down the right "routine" and "products". Hair is soft, curl defined and growing!

    Thanks for the info about Ritual -- will be checking it out. Actions taking this year: Get back to prepooing regularly, including hot oil treatments and oil rinsing (it's been a long time since I've done that); be consistent; get a good trim; give more TLC to my crown area especially with my DHT blockers; get back to premaking my Ayurvedic masks ahead of time and place in the freezer to save time; scalp massages and use heat more for better saturation (e.g., heating cap, hooded dryer or steamer).

I'm further welcoming the abundant fullness of my mane by approaching my haircare with an encouraging attitude: knowing my desired density and each of my hair goals is easily attainable for me, believing that my hair is healthful and radiant, and trusting that my TLC towards my hair manifests my flourishing crown.

    I’m currently on a March challenge of massaging every night while wearing mini twist. My hair is high porosity so I LOC with Vaseline 🤩🤩🤩 or grease every night and deep condition weekly. So far I’ve only missed one night. January was weekly Rosemary and garlic rinse (boiling method) and oil rinsing after deep conditioning. I chose a more natural hair products and my hair loves it. So far everything is going well. AND MOST IMPORTANT I stopped air drying my scalp because it was sore and tender aka inflammation. I’ll come out the shower, start mini twist or let it air dry for an hour, and then just hold the blow dryer to my scalp.
    Yes I’m so serious about my growth this year. I had literally have a calendar at my desk to remind me.
    Had my hair

    Hi, I tried oil rinse last night per you description. How long does it take to rinse the oil out of my hair? My hair feels really oily today. Please advise.

    You talked about Pure encapsulations hair/skin/nails ultra-vitamins in a previous video. I'm currently using them, and I have noticed Yes! my hair is growing a lot. Thank you for this recommendation. Question: have you personally tried this one? If I'm not mistaken in the previous video, you stated you would try it and give us and update. If you did, please advise, if you didn't that's fine, we all have a lot going on. I just wanted to know another person experience with this particular vitamin. once again thank you. Please advise

    Whats the best way to keep your hair moisturized with protective styles like box braids and twists?

      You can use a water based braid spray or make your own using aloe Vera juice, water and glycerin.

    Hey, I love your videos, I do a ACV herb rinse as my last rinse for my high porosity hair. How would I introduce the oil rinse in my shampoo day with the ACV rinse?
