The way you push through being diagnosed with leukemia and all your treatment you still have a huge smile and still do the things you love to do, I’m so inspired I’ve been watching your videos for a few months just before you released that you were diagnosed and I’ll say i learned a lot more then I thought I knew. Honda needs to make 2 strokes again instead of their new cr electric dirt bike line. So many people would buy 2020 cr250s and cr500s including me.
I was in the business and nobody was buying CR 500s. We had to sell them at less than our cost just to get them off the floor.
@@2DclanSnipingTeam cr500 is a bike for very few people. Rally/dunes is the only way you'll experience all of the bike

i love your attitude! keep the faith, I am praying for a complete recovery. i broke my arm last weekend at Odessa desert race, I was100 yards from the finish, I wanted push my bike over the finish line but they wouldn't let me so here i am watching videos biding my time until i can ride again, hang in there, its what we do

Try putting your front number plate on to straighten out your Clutch cable
Do gas tank, skid plate, and front brake rotor guard all in carbon fiber!
Literally guy has zero experience "do a gas tank" yeah and fuck up the old one by using it as a mold......

If he can nickel plate bolts, powdercoat parts and even cerakote plastic, why not make something out of cf? He does everything with details and does his research unlike many poeple on youtube...

Your vids are the best! This CR is going to be a true masterpiece, it's really starting to look beautiful. I love how you don't edit it out if you make a mistake. Like when you fogot to put the throttle boot over the handlebar first. Leaving things like that in is one of the most helpful things you do in your videos. I can't wait for the carbon fiber video!! Carbon fiber airbox and tank! Dude, when you are done with this thing, factory riders are going to be jealous of your ride!

You build some really nice bikes, my brother who also loved motorcycles, went to Seattle for leukemia treatment years ago Fred Hutchinson research center. I remember him having that same shunt put into his chest and I pray for you to have a full recovery, I'm happy to see that your doing well and the treatments today are better than the early 80's. Coating the shock shaft and fork tubes would be killer
SGB Racing can do the entire fork and shock coatings and have them set it up for you using race tech gold valves

I replace the entire clutch system on my 2002 CR250 and the only way I made the clutch Pole easy enough to pull with one finger is I replace the clutch cable with a hydraulic mugura clutch now its finally an eazy pull

This is so inspiring! I've a cr250 from 2007 and parked it last year in my garage. Your videos are making me wanted to start a cr250 build in a new model frame. Current one is completely weared out. (rode it until last year 😄) cr250s for life!!!

good to see you stay so positive despite everything. when I was 14 I had Hodgkin's disease (cancer in the lymph nodes). The motivation to be able to drive again and to stay busy with motocross has helped me. I personally hate stiff clutch pull so I had on my Honda Magura Hymec this worked great. Good to see you in the garage, keep doing what you gotta do to be 100% healthy. I’ve always likes to use dry graphite to lube between the bar and throttle tube. It’s not really a project bike if you don’t have issues come up. And just another thing to spend money on but look into the loud mouth intakes, they pretty sweet.

Hi Cameron, I found a pretty good solution to my clutch pull. I used a Righteous Stunt Metal lever and 1mm washers behind the clutch springs to reduce the pressure. I dropped the pull force by close to 15 -20 inch pounds of pressure. Now I can easily pull the lever with one finger. I do not notice any slipping with the lowered plate pressure but I expect a bit more wear of the clutch plates over time. The new lever is super smooth and looks great. Good luck with your health and bike project.

Put on some softer clutch springs an put oil in it then it wil be easier to pull

Putting softer clutch springs would wear the clutch more and it would probably slide more since he Has alot of power on that 2 stroke

I am Glad that the moto industry is finally adopting lock on grips. When I replaced the grips on my crf250, the guy before me put some gnarly glue on the grips, which was a pain to get off. I just used isopropyl alcohol and let it dry for a while.The mtb side of things has been using lock on grips for a long while, and I am happy for that.
Excellent videos, big companies need to take lessons from you on how to do great videos! One of the best on the internet, I would say the best!! God bless you on your health battles. I attended a motorcycle mechanic course in Chicago during the mid 70's and I am learning from you new stuff....keep up the great work!

For the carbon fiber it all depend on weather you plan on keeping the oem style plastics or the polisport restyle kit! I’d say some carbon fiber fork covers would be amazing! And if you keep the oem plastics then the air box would be cool but I love the look of the restyle kits!

Hey Cam (or anyone else) not sure if you'll ever see this or have already heard about it, but in the instructions for the ODI lock-on grips they mention how handlebars with rough/serrated ends will cause interference with mechanism, and they recommend grinding the burs flat on the handlebar. Thanks for the vids!
If you want your clutch lever to be one finger pull with ease try getting a Righteous Stunt Clutch lever. I have one on my GSXR and R1 and the pull from oem is night and day. Sweet build been following it since the start. Make CR250s great again !!!

Just picked up an 01 cr250 clean title and running condition here in Washington state! Plan on cleaning her up with your help Cameron.
With my bike I tend to have the clutch lever/perch more towards the center of the bike so im pulling on the very end of the lever. I found that pulling on the very end of the lever helps a ton! Great video man. Iv watched your bike build videos a while ago but im running though them again because Im building my own 03 cr250 right now!

I had the same problem with my odi grips and actually broke the grip hammering it on. Messaged Jeff Emig on his Instagram and he apologized for not labeling the package with the instructions well enough and sent me another set free of charge! Amazing customer service. With aftermarket bars you have to sand the knurling off the bar and it slides right on 🤙🏼

Great video's bro. Good luck with the 2 yr therapy. Hang in there and keep your head up. My dad got cancer a few years ago,did the chemotherapy and went away but it came back,atronger then the first time,so yea its worth doing the 2yr therapy,just to be on the safe side. I will pray for u bro🙏
Have a look at your clutch lifter to see if it's worn on the end that goes onto the clutch lifter rod. I watched a video on TNT Moto sight and he had a stiff clutch pull and found the lifter worn. Good luck and keep the videos coming. Looking forward to see you riding your new CR250
