Shame that you guys had to just the ride short. Smart thinking ending it when you did though... Regardless, the ride looked awesome. Slippery descent are my arch enemy. You guys breezed through it all :-)
Good to see you got thru your stack ok on the ORR. I was the guy on the SWM 500 behind you . Your 501 has a wet weight of around 130kg. Your tire pressure is totally adequate at 16psi dry and 14 psi wet. Bikes at weights of 200+ kg need 20 plus psi.
Pyrenees ; in the winter you need your best tyres, in the summer fit anything old to protect your rims from the rocks. Get it wrong and you will be travelling to hospital.
@@DriveOnLeft I used to ride up there a lot with the locals, so I never remembered the routes much. I do recall one downhill that was so slippery that I used my footpeg to gouge into the side of the track to stop me.
Hey Heine, Samsung A7 lite. Cheap to replace if anything goes wrong. Good to see navigation due to the big screen, and can watch netflix at the end of the night.

Yeah, we will be back, only a 2 hour ride. We only did about 20 percent of my planned route.
The tracks look sweet in there. Definitely going to check that area out. Thanks for sharing mate
No worries!

Hey mate, cheers for the comment.... I still can't remember how I stacked. I assume I did something silly.... 😞
Looks like a great place to ride, I think ill wait till its a bit warmer and do a camp.
Yeah definitely going back in summer to do more tracks. Probably enough tracks for two days
Slippery!

Next time we go in the wet, we might camp off the 4x4s and ride with no luggage, we can also then air down a bit more.

@@kymstock1852 yeah I can believe the 100%, every track seems to have climbs and steep descents
Good video and nice tracks. What tyres and what pressures are you guys running. Thanks.
Dunlop 606 on the rear at 20psi. A pirelli XC Mid Hard front at 19 psi.
@@DriveOnLeft thanks mate.
What are you using for navigation a tablet ?

What are you using as a mount?
Also I think that's an A7? Is that right?
Using an adventure spec mini fairing, with a ram tablet mount. And yeah it's an A7 lite.
@@DriveOnLeft How does that thing go with Dust and Water? obviously not to bad with rain..
