Sir..If ZL is complex then how to evaluate arctan(sqrt(ZL/Zo)) expression in Ls..I mean we can evaluate arctan only when the inner thing is completely real..But what should we do if it is complex???

jasti naveen yes we can do by smith chart, or we can determine from reflection coefficient formula for ls, lt where we can find from umesh Sinha text book
