What I think is important, is RUclipsrs need to know what they truly want from the channel (money/publicity/ect.) And I noticed you said "I miss the community", so you need to find ways to connect and build your community. And making this video was a good start towards that goal, because when YOU open up to your audience, WE will open ourselves to you. Personally I loved the "zodiac drive" idea, it's entertaining and shows us their perspective, it absolutely deserves more hype. But sometimes original ideas don't get the attention they deserve. Most times it's the "trending" topics that gets more views. So maybe pay attention with what's going on in the present time and combine that WITH zodiacs. (Example: How each zodiac acts in quarantine.) and try to find a pattern of ur videos that get the most views, what's making those work (thumbnail/title/content/topic/other ppl involved? Its almost like a math formula.) Also people tend to succeed more when they get out of their comfort zone. So maybe try to do an interview with random people in public. Or a survey. Or some kind of gameshow (Brilliant ideas = trial/errors and a lot of patience). But also never forget what YOU enjoy doing most which is "picking People's brains and asking questions". Always remember this is YOUR channel, so never lose yourself to satisfy what other people want. In your case it's like drawing something for 5 hours and they put it in a gallery full of 100 people and only 5 ppl look at it, it's frustrating. Something I know about most of my aquarius friends is, they don't like to be corrected or to feel intellectually inferior to anyone. I've told them that it can hold you back from succeeding bc of the fear of looking "stupid". So I advice you to confront that inner fear, make a video that would purposely make you look stupid, expose that vulnerability so you're not afraid anymore! Making a RUclips channel is ALL about experimenting and making mistakes!! Don't be afraid to mess up! You rlly inspire us... All 6 of us! LMFAO - ♐🔥
I'm a long time subscriber and also a self taught astrology lover. I think the reason for the less views thing is probably that we could feel that you were only doing the videos for the people and not because you still loved to do it. So the channel lost some of that flare that it used to have. I think more variety and you actually having fun with the topic of astrology (like the Drive with me series) will put you back in a creative space to gain more engagement again. This video is a wonderful step in that direction because you got vulnerable and asked the reason why and also what we want to see. Sorry i typed so much lol.
Hey Ashley. I subscribed to you channel because I felt like you were the person who didn’t give a generic description of my zodiac sign (Scorpio). Why I enjoy watching your channel it’s maybe you’re not the “professional astrologer type” and your perception is based on your assessment of people and I think that’s genuine. Personally speaking, I like the concept of the drive with me after you explained it but it’s not my favorite. I think the videos are too long and become boring after a while. The Capricorn drive with me video was my favorite because the guy was just oozing who a typical cap is (not saying everything didn’t do a good job). I really love the list videos and you ripping on Scorpios lol. Don’t overexert yourself and make the videos that person crave for more but not try to pander to every viewer. I hope this helps 😊

I think I can explain my own reasoning for me personally. I’ve been a long time subscriber, since maybe 2018-2020. Like consistently lol but then life and relationships happened so many of my favorite channels became lost within the mix of theirs and my videos no longer come up as often. I’m just now seeing this and I felt sad because I loved watching and listening to your videos while I’m reading or just relaxing. I’m happy to find you again though 😁 ♒️

I had a similar experience with my instagram following. My reach just absolutely plummeted and it was really demotivating when no one ever saw my content. But as soon as I posted a tiktok and reel, my reach was the highest it had ever been. I guess the way i see it is that people's attention spans are really low and the tiktok/reel format is what people like these days. It sucks but I think that's the direction that content creators will have to move toward (for smaller content creators**).

During the pandemic shut down period, I watched one of your "how to know an Aquarius likes you" videos, which got me to binge watch your "drive series" :) which got me to subscribe. Since then, I've noticed an explosion of astrology channels. RUclips seems saturated with them now. At one point I thought, "damn, did everyone go to astrology school during the pandemic or what?" I found this channel about 5 years ago and used to watch it religiously. It helped me understand my Aquarius self so much better and other signs (and my moon and a whole bunch of other stuff). I felt seen and it was also fun but I could also tell that you were losing the passion for this channel at some point and the fact you chose to take a step back instead of forcing it when your heart wasn't in it says a lot about you so I just want to take a moment to acknowledge that. Having said that, please don't give up. You will get all you want and more! Some time and consistency will have you back on the up and up. Trust yourself and the ideas you have. I'd love to see anything (I know it doesn't help being so vague lol). Maybe introduce some kind of synergy between our signs, aspects of our charts and how that relates to our spiritual journeys, angel numbers, elements of tarot too maybe?... In the meantime, I've been vibing with your other channel and loving the content there. Rooting for you whatever you choose to do and wherever you do it!!!!!
You can also introduce game themes - truth or drink the astrology edition. - zodiac blind dates - act like another zodiac sign for a day😅 idk im trying to come up with something. - zodiac sign stylist series Like for example ask a leo to do your make & style you for the day and rate them out of 10 at the end. Then do this with another zodiac sign etc. These are some of the ideas I thought of😅. I've been feeling off too♒, hopefully when Saturn leaves Aquarius next year we'll feel more like ourselves and things will go back to "normal"

I think it might also have to do with the fact that you sort of posted the same 'content' or videos a lot, and people might have just gotten bored of it, but I feel like funny zodiac skits, or maybe even "dress like your zodiac sign" would be cool to do if you're feeling unmotivated. Good luck! :)

Don’t give up but don’t give in. When RUclips first started users would make content because they were passionate about it. Videos were not made for clout or ad revenue. People would post whatever and whenever they wanted to. There’s no need to put so much pressure on yourself or try to conform. You have some great ideas! The algorithm is fucked. In this modern day & age there seems to be so much emphasis on numbers.
Maybe you can interview the viewers that you have now via zoom but instead of asking directly what their sign is you should try to guess base on the conversation, and you guys/girls could literally talk about anything not strictly astrology, like a zodiac family feud almost, It would add a personal feel to us as the subscribers

I don’t think it’s you at all but the Drive With me series was love! The concept is fresh and new so, I think you wanna be challenged in astrology cause it does get stale at times. Also, you gotta invest in another crowd aside from Astro. It pays off if that’s what you want.
I think from watching you sense 2018 I saw the downfall slowly starting when you slowly stopped posting “the zodiac signs when their mad” or “how to know if a zodiac is upset” videos like that. I loved videos like that and I think many other people did too!

But the thing is that I feel like only that small percentage now is really into astrology and not just fun videos about theirs the or their crushes sign,you know what I mean? So maybe focus on the fun astrology as you said,I feel like people want to hear about themselves mostly. Maybe do commentary or talk about current stuff through astrology. In my opinion, these are the reasons why you get no views: 1) You don't upload that much. Like the drive with me am I gonna wait one week to see the next sign? It is RUclips, not HBO. 2) Astrology is not a common thing. People who believe in astrology are few. 3) The pandemic is over. The views have decreased for all small channels, not just you. 4) It is weird that you have 172k and 800 views. But I noticed that youtube recommends the recent or most frequent channels that you watch. Check your old subscribed channels they are still uploading but they don't recommend it to you anymore. 5) You don't make videos with popular channels in astrology. I assume because you are offering basic things. Another thing people who kept watching your videos were interested in your personality. I can see this clearly in the comments. I think your channel was more popular when you made things personal for people. Like what I think about “your” zodiac sign. Things that help them understand themselves. Also you became less and less enthusiastic in your videos. Like you talk like you were bored and that kinda put me off as well.
Well.. you can't expect people to watch your videos when you criticize their sun signs a lot. You're every open about the signs you don't like. It's funny at first, but after a while the criticism became a bit much. Love people and they will love you... Criticize people...and they won't watch your videos anymore lol.
The reason why your channel is "dying" is because astrology has been digested by the masses, its no longer the new thing. Everyone kind of knows the basics now. You came in at the perfect time when the lid of astrology was removed. Its as simple as that. Plus you and your viewers have grown up and digested zodiac. Its not an infinite topic. Stop crying about your views and what your viewers want. Just keep it simple and keep uploading what YOU enjoy. This channel may just be a stepping stone to something else.

I liked this video. :) Your aqua energy is just beaming through it. I'm in a relationship with an Aquarius. During the pandemic shut down period, I watched one of your "how to know an Aquarius likes you" videos, which got me to binge watch your "drive series" :) which got me to subscribe. Since then, I've noticed an explosion of astrology channels. RUclips seems saturated with them now. At one point I thought, "damn, did everyone go to astrology school during the pandemic or what?" Lol There is just sooo many.
It would be funny/informative to see videos of how you react to things "as an Aquarius" and the logic/thought process behind it. For people like myself, who is with one. Still trying to crack the code. lmao

I was watching you since I was 15 I loved your personality it was confident and care free when it came to others opinions. You can maybe do vlogs, skits, and reaction videos about astrology Your channel is great though!
I found this channel about 5 years ago and used to watch it religiously. It helped me understand my Aquarius self so much better and other signs (and my moon and a whole bunch of other stuff). I felt seen and it was also fun but I could also tell that you were losing the passion for this channel at some point and the fact you chose to take a step back instead of forcing it when your heart wasn't in it says a lot about you so I just want to take a moment to acknowledge that. Having said that, please don't give up. You will get all you want and more! Some time and consistency will have you back on the up and up. Trust yourself and the ideas you have. I'd love to see anything (I know it doesn't help being so vague lol). Maybe introduce some kind of synergy between our signs, aspects of our charts and how that relates to our spiritual journeys, angel numbers, elements of tarot too maybe?... In the meantime, I've been vibing with your other channel and loving the content there. Rooting for you whatever you choose to do and wherever you do it!!!!!

- act like another zodiac sign for a day😅 idk im trying to come up with something.

Like for example ask a leo to do your make & style you for the day and rate them out of 10 at the end. Then do this with another zodiac sign etc.
These are some of the ideas I thought of😅. I've been feeling off too♒, hopefully when Saturn leaves Aquarius next year we'll feel more like ourselves and things will go back to "normal"

I think it might also have to do with the fact that you sort of posted the same 'content' or videos a lot, and people might have just gotten bored of it, but I feel like funny zodiac skits, or maybe even "dress like your zodiac sign" would be cool to do if you're feeling unmotivated. Good luck! :)

Don’t give up but don’t give in. When RUclips first started users would make content because they were passionate about it. Videos were not made for clout or ad revenue. People would post whatever and whenever they wanted to. There’s no need to put so much pressure on yourself or try to conform. You have some great ideas! The algorithm is fucked. In this modern day & age there seems to be so much emphasis on numbers.
Maybe you can interview the viewers that you have now via zoom but instead of asking directly what their sign is you should try to guess base on the conversation, and you guys/girls could literally talk about anything not strictly astrology, like a zodiac family feud almost, It would add a personal feel to us as the subscribers
I originally stopped watching because the videos to me became really opinion-based instead of info-based. I love all the information and explanation videos you had of astrology. Like why do certain signs do certain things. So interesting!!!!
I don’t think it’s you at all but the Drive With me series was love! The concept is fresh and new so, I think you wanna be challenged in astrology cause it does get stale at times. Also, you gotta invest in another crowd aside from Astro. It pays off if that’s what you want.

I think from watching you sense 2018 I saw the downfall slowly starting when you slowly stopped posting “the zodiac signs when their mad” or “how to know if a zodiac is upset” videos like that. I loved videos like that and I think many other people did too!

i do enjoy your drive with me’s w/ the zodiac signs. maybe good things will come back just so long as you continue to be yourself and enjoy making. could just be fighting the shitty algorithm

I think most people stumbled upon your channel,like one day they typed their sun sign and maybe watched more videos because you are really entertaining. But the thing is that I feel like only that small percentage now is really into astrology and not just fun videos about theirs the or their crushes sign,you know what I mean? So maybe focus on the fun astrology as you said,I feel like people want to hear about themselves mostly. Maybe do commentary or talk about current stuff through astrology. Lastly,I think your strong feature is honesty and being straightforward like in this video so stick to that.

To be honest I watch your videos because you are an aquarius and I'm an Aries I like how stable and neutral your energy is. The drive with me series was good actually. In my opinion, these are the reasons why you get no views:
1) You don't upload that much.
Like the drive with me am I gonna wait one week to see the next sign? It is RUclips, not HBO.
2) Astrology is not a common thing. People who believe in astrology are few.
3) The pandemic is over.
The views have decreased for all small channels, not just you.
4) It is weird that you have 172k and 800 views. But I noticed that youtube recommends the recent or most frequent channels that you watch. Check your old subscribed channels they are still uploading but they don't recommend it to you anymore.
5) You don't make videos with popular channels in astrology. I assume because you are offering basic things.
Another thing people who kept watching your videos were interested in your personality. I can see this clearly in the comments.

I think your channel was more popular when you made things personal for people. Like what I think about “your” zodiac sign. Things that help them understand themselves. Also you became less and less enthusiastic in your videos. Like you talk like you were bored and that kinda put me off as well.
Well.. you can't expect people to watch your videos when you criticize their sun signs a lot. You're every open about the signs you don't like. It's funny at first, but after a while the criticism became a bit much. Love people and they will love you... Criticize people...and they won't watch your videos anymore lol.

The reason why your channel is "dying" is because astrology has been digested by the masses, its no longer the new thing. Everyone kind of knows the basics now. You came in at the perfect time when the lid of astrology was removed. Its as simple as that. Plus you and your viewers have grown up and digested zodiac. Its not an infinite topic.
Stop crying about your views and what your viewers want. Just keep it simple and keep uploading what YOU enjoy. This channel may just be a stepping stone to something else.
