This is such a Beautiful song with a meaningful message..... This song reminds me of my mama she raced three brats on her own as a single my daddy wasn't around so there was a lot of things that my mom learned that a man should know and she taught us how to check the oil change a tire and check the swamp cooler see if the water level is high and to check the float.... My mama was the one that taught us things a man should know.... And I feel there's a lot of single moms out there that can definitely relate to this song... Great song girl, I too know a few things a man ought to know... considering that I was raised by a daddy with one arm , I was the right hand for him . But , I can rebuild a carburetor, put blades on a mower, and lots more. I sure miss him so much. This song makes me think about him always. He never raised a girl who couldn't take care of herself and he truly did a great job.
