How did you manage to adjust the fence to the blade? Seems all screws which holding the plate has a slot so you cant adjust it accordingly to the pins which showing what degree is. I can get square and square the fence to the blade but the pins dont go whenever they should so is like useless.
Same issue with video for me. Also, Hikoki is also known as Metabo and was formerly Hitachi and the saw is made in China. Not a problem. I love my Metabo.
Also used the threaded holes to attach the fence. Should have used the slots I think. I received the Aliexpress version today & it is slightly different. It has all the same holes but has some extra holes at the bottom of the mitre with 2 grub screws so the fence can be adjusted to vertical. I'm sure the black sliding part on the stop is there so you can adjust it so the rule reads zero but haven't taken mine to the workshop to try it yet.
Hey mate, have tried to re upload it, still fails. Long story short, it goes ok, but there is no vertical adjustment and it drags on the table. Small design flaw
That miter gauge/fence has a generic look. I bought the Daydoor brand, and it looks similar to that one, but the gauge was stainless steel, and the fence was anodized black.
Same here. video just freezes at 4:50
So sorry guys, maybe I'll take it down and re upload it 😞
Everything after 4:50 is broken and wouldn't play. Maybe it's just me?
Sorry to hear that, it's working on my end

I don't use it anymore for this reason, also the fence cannot be elevated so it drags on the table and has scratched it up badly

That black bit that tights the stop probably can be slightly lifted and rotated to "rest" the handle where it doesn't bother you and the stop
Thanks, tried it and it worked, much better now

Dang, video fails just before you get into the application of the fence. Can you re-upload it mate? Thinking to buy one

Damn was really looking forward to the result of this review, it was a good start. Can you fix the video? Broken from 4:54
Sorry to hear that, I'll re upload it
Video ends for me there, too

Yeah there is nothing fancy about
Everything and mean everything is manufactured in China, especially tools.
Is it worth the buy? Can't finish the video
Sorry about the video, not worth it, it has way to many flaws
video freezes. Is it worth it?
Sorry about the freezing video. To answer your question, no, it's not worth it
Still just freezes
