Iger didn’t suggest Disney and Reedy Creek are synonymous, he stated it plainly. Disney has to pay is a bonds, it is responsible for zone debts, it will be paying taxes like every other special tax district in the state of Florida from this point on. Iger stepped in it, big time.
@@denvan3143 Disney has always paid its taxes. Property taxes don't go to the special district. They go to the counties where the special district is located. In this case Orange and Osceola, where Disney is the largest property tax payer in each of those counties.

After the 2023 earnings call Bob Iger doesn’t have anything left between his legs. His admission, Disney, and really Creek, or the same resulted in a criminal investigation the next day.
