    Great video Dallas, I do pretty much the same thing (including clipping the pipe cleaners!) 👍

      Thanks Sean!! In the beginning, I was a bit wasteful by throwing away pipe cleaners that only had each end soiled. I eventually became wise to the idea of simply clipping the soiled end off and utilizing the clean portions; such a simple concept yet I overlooked it for too long. Glad to see ya Sean, Happy Piping!

    Learning a lot from your videos. Still having a problem watching them on my phone and being able to comment or like. But it all comes through when pulled up on wife's puter. Really like your cleaning method. Been going through a bunch of pipe cleaners and this will be a big help.

      Hey Steve, glad you stopped by! I used to go through a ton of pipe cleaners before cutting them. Sorry you're having issues on your phone, I'm not sure what could be causing that but I'm glad your wife's computer isn't bothering you. Happy Piping buddy!

      @@FullDottle I've tried it on the last few smokes and it's made a noticeable difference! Thanks again brother!

    I do the same inside the chamber, but I don’t break my pipes down after every bowl. I think that could possibly cause issues down the road. Enjoy your weekend, take care bro!

      I've removed my pipe stem after every smoke since I began smoking a pipe and they haven't gotten more loose or anything.......my only caveat to removing the stem would be to wait until the pipe has cooled, removing the stem of a hot pipe can spell disaster. I'm happy you stopped by buddy!! Happy Piping!

    Have you made a video on pipe reaming and the reamers you use? I clean my pipes pretty much like you do after each use. Thanks

    I'm getting like coal, not ash. Is there a reason for this?

    • @FullDottle
      @FullDottle  8 месяцев назад

      Hey there! My first question would be how you clean your pipe. Coal, in my opinion, may be a product of an expedient cake. I would suggest trying to perhaps clear the bowl a little more than normal for a while to slow the cake building process. Another issue would be how often you smoke your pipes; a pipe that isn't properly rested will have damp dottle and therefore lead to a more robust carbon flavor. So, perhaps rest your pipes more between smokes. Hope this helps! Happy Piping!

    Wet pipe cleaner... Who knew? Cool. I still clean inside of the bowl... The experiment continues. 😁

    • @FullDottle
      @FullDottle  4 года назад

      How has the experiment come along?? I have seen quite a few others that don't build a cake in their briars. It isn't a necessity, it just offers a layer of protection to the raw briar. Happy Piping buddy!

    The best smokes and most pure tobacco flavor I get are from new pipes so I try to eliminate all build up that I can. ... but that's just me. Lol
