my magnum 26 has an all stainless steel cross guard, but i dont mind, i dont use mine though, its purely a collectors piece along with my down under outback, i like the look of the outback more but i would say the muela is a better steel, its more corrosion resistant thats for sure
That's a awesome collection you have there. I have the same silver Stag Bowie's you do. I do use them but I couldn't imagine beating them to split wood like that guy unless my life depended upon it.
Great review because this is probably going to be my next Bowie. The Magnum or the BW24.

@@BackyardKnifeDude They're a brand I don't really see too much of here in RUclips. At least not reviews in English. It seems they don't sell at some of the major online knife retailers either outside of Amazon. I wonder why? They make very nice looking knives

@@BackyardKnifeDude Ah I see. Didn't come up in a Google search for Muela 🤷 Not their full catalog there though. Don't see this Magnum 26 there. One of their folding knives called the Navalia has really caught my attention as well. No Muela brand at Smoky Mountain Knife Works or Knife Center.

I ordered mine on Mar 19, 2021. I see most knives this past year are scarce or out of stock.
Be diligent and one will pop up somewhere.
